Cute and quiet - Edit
Down a quiet side street, the cafe is very compact but opens out to the street. Lots of staff, all very friendly. The menu has a dozen or so items from burgers to pasta to local fare, all in the 35-70K range. I had the gado-gado which very nice with chunks of tempeh, and a pineapple juice. The burgers looked good too. It is quite warm inside but there was a fan and a breeze. I was there mid-afternoon but no problems with cooking then. I would like to come back and try more items.

Yummy Vegan Padang! - Edit
I tried the Rendang Bowl - it was such a treat to have a quite different take on vegan version of Rendang. Although the winner in the bowl is the vegan sunny. The Rendang could have been marinated as the sauce wasn't really kicking this time.

I had the gado gado, a mix fruit smoothie and a bit of carrot cake to take back to hotel, all was delicious and the best vegan carrot cake i’ve eaten in the last three years!

Underwhelming due to small portion sizes - Edit
Had the healthy juice, vegan burger and carrot cake. The flavour of each item was pretty good but the let down was with the portion sizes. The juice was enough. However the burger was very thin and just came with a couple of nachos and the carrot cake slice, whilst delicious, was very small. Considering I paid 109k in total, I was disappointed with the portion sizes.

Went there twice. The gado gado (39K) is not awesome but still really good. The burger is really good (45K)!!! Not dry like most of burgers in Asia, and very tasty.

Didn't enjoy the dragon fruit shake but like in most Asia there are never very good.

Was there 10 minutes before they opened, but the owner was so nice to let me order already anyway. I had the mango juice (nothing special, just the kind you get everywhere) and the fettuccine in soy milk with vegetables. Really yummy and totally what I needed after all the Indonesian food you get everywhere else. Owner is super nice and even gave me a glutenfree, vegan cookie for free. Highly recommend this place!
Read moreUpdate 2019: I went back for the pancake that everyone seemed to be raving about and I was really disappointed, it was thick and mushy with not much flavor and the icecream was really chunky also not flavorful. I would rather recommend to go and have one of their smoothie bowls, they are amazing!!
Update 2020: I went back as I was waiting for my Perama bus, staff was a bit unfriendly and seemed to be more interested in their phones. Had an iced coffee (really yummy), the vegan omelette (should have asked for ketchup, a bit dry) and the chocolate cake (amazing, even though a bit pricey at 39k, but it was a big piece). Overall would still recommend!!

1. mushroom balls pasta
bolognese style tomato base pasta. relatively small portion but just nice if you have a small appetite. flavourful sauce with stir friend onions and tomatoes
2. bruschetta
a small snack after the pasta, the sauce on top was great!
3. lime juice
great that you can choose your desired sugar level
overall i’m very pleased with my experience there, 4 stars as the food is good but not absolutely spectacular. worth going if you’d like some peaceful quiet time away from the busy streets.

The tempe on the other hand were a little on the doughy side and therefor a little dry.

We had the burger was really nice, bun was lovely and soft and toasted, and the omelette was nicely seasoned, bit mushy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Ice tea was nice too. All ingredients tasted very fresh.
