Exquisite meals - Edit
The food here is superb. I had a delicious omnipork burger. It is rather expensive and the serving size is small but worth it for the high quality. Remember that there is an additional service charge to add to your order.

Vegan Amore - Edit
Finally patronized this vegan restaurant after visiting Taiwan for so many times. I came around 8 plus with half filled stomach, ordered the ratatouille and the vegan beef got me shocked as it tasted like beef to me, even though I don’t recall I had any beef before. My appetite definitely impacted the score for Vegan Amore. I had the ratatouille with soft bread, the portion is rather big, and it’s flavorful. Best to have it as shared dish.
Read moreI had the strawberry matcha tiramisu which a bit disappointing as to me it is basically just matcha mousse on biscoff biscuit crumble. Nothing special.
Definitely will come back for other dishes as I saw many dishes I would like to try for sure.

Excellent food - Edit
We loved it it here! We had the set menu for two and enjoyed the warm mushrooms salad, fish and chips as the appetizers and then each got a pasta: the chili oil one and the Japanese. It also came with drinks and we added on the chocolate mousse. It was all terrific, lots of flavour and lovely staff.

Super tasty all vegan - Edit
Great pasta. The fish and chips were not British style but more fast food style chips but very tasty nonetheless. The fish was suspiciously close to real fish it kind of freaked me out, it also came with a vegan tartar sauce which I’ve never tried before. My favourite was the pasta though!

2026 update: best matcha tiramisu - Edit
Had a nice post valentine dinner here. Enjoyed the set menu for two. Winners are the buffalo cauliflower, fig and preserved fruit salad, and the best vegan matcha tiramisu ever! Plus I really loved the rose oat latte. Taipei must!

Nice western food at the mall - Edit
This restaurant is located at the Q Square Mall. We found it easily by following the signs.
Read moreThe menu is varied and interesting.
My husband had the vegan beef burger and it was ok. I had the truffle spaghetti and they were delicious.
Despite the mall location, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and the decor is nice. It is not a food court restaurant but has a separate location next to a section of clothing.

This was a good spot for vegan options and western options. Knocked off a star because none of the dishes we tried were wowee but I would recommend visiting if you're looking for vegan western options.

Nice western food - Edit
I tried the omni pork burger which was quite good with the nicely melted cheese. The vegan fish eggs on the fried mushrooms were very impressive as well. Grape smoothy was fantastic.

Nice spot for Western food - Edit
If you know this place is on the 3rd floor of Qsquare mall, you can find it quite easily. It’s a nice but very expensive restaurant, you easily pay about 5 times as much as in other restaurants. Also your ‘meal time’ is limited to 90 minutes.
Read moreThat said, they have some amazing food items. We came here to try the OmniPork burger ($400) and it did not disappoint. Their oat milk coffees are good but start from $180. Free water is included. We also tried the Japanese Style Fried Mushroom with Salmon Roe, and found out in Taiwan, appetisers are definitely made for sharing. But the dish was very very delicious. The rest of the menu contained mostly western dishes such as pasta and risotto. They frozen grape smoothie was also very good. Overall it was a good experience, especially if you are looking for Western food. But you won’t find any Taiwanese food.

Good Vegan Spot - Edit
Located on the 3rd floor of Q Square. You need to search for the place is quite “inside”.
Read moreOrdered their Fish and Chips. Although it was stated as Appetiser, but the portion was big so don’t be fooled unless you are a big eater.
Fish and Chips was nice, the chips was crispy to my liking but hope they can have more tartar sauce 😅.

Great Vegan Spot 😊 - Edit
Overall, this was a pretty good dining experience. Vegan Amore is located inside the mall on the third floor, and the space is colorful, modern, and really inviting. My favorite dish was definitely the pumpkin stew — rich, comforting, and perfect with the European bread it comes with. I also loved the sea salt caramel oat milk latte, which was surprisingly balanced and not overly sweet. A solid vegan option if you’re in the area!

Great! - Edit
This is a restaurant hidden away in a mall but it’s worth finding! It seems to be quite popular and we went at lunch time, so if you’re looking to go for dinner, it might be worth reserving a table.
Read moreThe food was really tasty and the portions were massive. Although the Korean cauliflower left quite a bad aftertaste which might have been from the oil. To be honest it’s the only reason I’m not giving this place a 5* rating. The food is quite expensive as well so if you’re travelling on a budget you might want to have a look at the prices before deciding to come here.

My girlfriend had the soup and a salad and both were amazing, I had a burger which was nothing special - standard beyond beef style. Everything is quite pricey but still a great spot!

Overpriced and underperformed - Edit
A bit of a shame to leave a negative review but it’s very much warranted :(. My partner and I ordered burgers, which was supposed to come with potato wedges. Instead, his came with nothing and mine came with potato croquettes. I don’t like croquettes as the oiliness doesn’t agree with me. They told me they ran out of wedges—but I wasn’t informed when I ordered (which I was told to do through the QR code). They offered to switch for salad (which they then walked over with a baby sized plate of several thin shreds of lettuce). Another waitress then came over and offered french fries, which took a further ten minutes to come. The fries were very oily and I couldn’t finish them. The burgers themselves were a bit sad. The food are made up of small portions and are not even warm. To makes all this worse, there is a service charge. For what? For me to order on an app? What a shame. Go to HiPizza instead.

It is kind of difficult to find. One has to be in the right building, because there are many buildings connected. If in the right building there are signs. I think it is on the third floor.

Simply delicious - Edit
In my third week in Asia I was finally craving something else so I wanted to try this place. It is really expensive compared to the street eateries but I treated myself and it was totally worth it. I really miss a good vegan Italian style restaurant in Berlin so I was glad to find one here. Plus the atmosphere is really nice overall.
