Disappointing - Edit
I know I’m the odd one out but I was underwhelmed and disappointed. I went here with friends a few months after opening and ordered cauliflower wings, dumplings, peanut noodles, burger, katsu salad and polenta. All agreed that the appetizer portions were tiny (not for sharing) and the food was good but not exciting and a little lackluster. I went again this weekend. We spent about $100 for 2 people- 1 glass of wine each, 1 ap, 2 entrees, 2 desserts. We both agreed this seemed pretty steep for 6 pieces of cauliflower wings ($10) and pretty bland peanut noodles and tacos ($17.99each). The deserts were so overwhelmingly sweet that we, both with serious sweet tooth’s, didn’t finish them. They do seem to have a good beer list but I was sad at the much more limited list of mocktails from our initial visit. My friend and I both cook a lot so perhaps that added to the disappointment? I’m sad that I won’t be returning to this nearby vegan establishment (also- why are there no pancakes, French toast, or waffles on the brunch menu?!)

Fully vegan, delicious, friendly service. - Edit
We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower to support their fundraiser, and wished we had ordered two orders! So yummy. We had three entrees that were all delicious. The jambalaya was so good. Even the “shrimp”.
Read moreThey have chalk board tabletops and a bucket of chalk on each table. The artwork and decor was modern, warm and welcoming.
Pros: Fully vegan. Also the hot cider. , Female owned (?), Outdoor seating! Can’t wait to try it next summer
Cons: Tables were pretty close together, It was uncomfortably cold

What I’ve been looking for in a vegan restaurant! - Edit
So happy to have found vegan A.F! It’s a cozy spot with a great menu and friendly staff.
Read moreWe had the buffalo cauliflower “wings” and they had a fabulous crunchy coating. The jambalaya was very flavorful, and the mushroom puttanesca hit the spot. The portion sizes were on point. They also had a cocktail list.
It doesn’t look like much on the outside of the building, but inside is cozy and fun. The tables are coated in chalkboard paint and a bucket of chalk is at the table. There is fun art and decorations on the walls to look at, but it doesn’t feel cluttered so the space feels more open.
Pros: Atmosphere , Food, Staff
Cons: Street parking

So glad to see more vegan food in Brattleboro, and now there is a fancy and shiny new co-op too, wow. Excellent service at this place, and the name pussytails is funny (instead of cocktails). I get cauliflower bites everywhere I go, and these were wonderful. We had an 86-year-old vegetarian with us, and she loved her food as well, the burger. We had the puttanesca pasta and jambalaya rice dishes, yum. Can't wait to go back for more. Enjoyed our wine too and drawing on the table with the chalk. There is a garden, but we were cold. On a back street past the co-op; you can easily miss it in the dark.

Pretty good - Edit
I like that there is a fully vegan restaurant in this area of Vermont. Drove 50 minutes to get dinner from here while staying up at one of the mountains for a long weekend.
Read moreI got the vegetable dumplings and peanut tofu noodles. The dumplings were, unfortunately, too spicy for me. I did enjoy the noodles though and everything seemed very fresh.
Pros: Fully vegan restaurant

AAAaaaamazing - Edit
Just got there for the first time since opening and can't wait to return to continue eating through the menu. We did the special queso dip instead of cauliflower bites and think we need to have those next time based on reviews. Dip was great, don't get me wrong. Everything was great and love the renovations they did. Cute little hole in the wall all Vegan restaurant that you have to try if driving through. So excited they are located in our little town!

Affordable and plant-based - Edit
Everything here (except likely the bread) is made from scratch. We tried the buffalo cauliflower, the shmorgas board, eggplant katsu salad, burger, polenta, and jambalaya. We even had NA beer! Everything is homemade except maybe the breads. Stars of the show for us were buffalo cauli, burger and polenta. We will be back regularly!
