My partner ordered the "beef" sandwich which he described as just fine.
Wish I went for the toasted cheese sandwiches...
Definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere and the coffees.

Homey and eclectic interior, cute and friendly rescue kitty with many delicious and clearly labeled vegan options. The three “cheese” toasty and the vegan gluten free quiche were particular favourites for our group. Reasonably priced for the area.

Delicious, creative food. We had the vegan quiche and galette which were both extremely tasty and felt wholesome and nutritious. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Should definitely be on your vegan food hitlist for Istanbul.

Cozy, mostly vegan spot near Galata Tower - Edit
An almost fully vegan cafe-restaurant near the Galata Tower, with just one or two vegerarian exceptions. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the staff are very kind and friendly. We tried the carrot lox tartine and the vegan quiche, and both were delicious. The desserts were average. I found the prices a bit too high, but I was still happy I went and would visit again.

We really enjoyed our lunch today. They are almost completely vegan (except for 2 items, grill cheese sandwich and quiche). Delicious food with friendly service. You download the menu, they have free wifi and toilets on the premises. In back is a sitting area (up stairs). Highly recommend.

Staff extremely friendly. We had two lovely sandwiches which were not only tasty but a bit inventive. Because those were so nice we also had a brownie which was definitely one of the better brownies i've had. It's lovely to sit outside but beware of the slope!

Vacilando is tucked away from the busy main street and was cosy. The staff were knowledgeable about which items were vegan and which vegetarian (about 50/50) it was also clearly written on the display case and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere, music and cats. Quite pricey though!

The first time I visited Vacilando there were no non-cheese items available on their menu... I was disappointed.

The food was simple and tasty and the service was friendly.
Also, the decor and cats make it nice and cosy. 💚😺
