Eleven of our all-vegan cruise ate here and everyone was happy with their dishes. Reasonably priced, excellent service, beautiful courtyard seating available.

We stayed three days in Dubrovnik and have been here four times. Tried a lot of the menu and liked everything - my personal favorite is the Falafel Poke 🤤

It has a lovely garden space to eat outside and the staff are super friendly.
I had the seitan kebab which was amazingly juicy and my wife had the burger (think it was called a Strava burger). We shared half of our dishes each and a portion of chips.
There is a big selection of both soft drinks and alcoholic drinks.
Exceptional value- especially considering the location.
Our meal cost 33 euros for a kebab, a burger, chips, a glass of Prosecco and a Diet Coke

Cons: Wish it was in Cavtat and not in Dubrovnik!

My friend (who is not veggie or vegan) and I have been here twice in 3 days. Helpful customer service, great choice of starters and mains and wine/beer plus reasonable prices. Near ferry port so great for after a trip to the islands

Urban and Veggie is a slick modern restaurant with an inside seating area and a terrace. We visited in April and it was fairly quiet for lunch, but the terrace had more people out back.
Read moreThe menu offers burgers, falafel, soup and other items. It's fairly affordable for Dubrovnik (a burger was 10 euro, fries an extra 5 euros).
Everything felt fresh and home made. Menu now says 100 per cent plant based and the dairy ice-cream previously mentioned by reviewers appears to have gone.

Very big place. We ended up here for a snack while it was raining. Enough seats. Too bad we couldn’t sit outside. . We had the kebab and it was very tasty. Some nice drinks and nice staff. But it’s weird they charge for plant milk in an almost vegan place. They serve cows milk as normal and they charge like 60 cent for almond milk.

The first page of their menu says that they're 100% plant-based, but they serve dairy, so they're not 100% plant-based at all, and it's a bit much for them to claim otherwise. It's sometimes unclear which dishes are actually vegan, especially in the desserts section - you might want to double check before ordering.

the food was super yummy, and as the only *mostly* vegan spot in the area, i'm glad it was! i had the vegeburger and my husband had the kebab. we split the mac and cheese and a cake! very tastey.
Read moremy only complaint is that they do serve dairy milk icecream. not a concern, since everything is VERY clearly marked, just something to note as it isn't 100% vegan as they say. i also wish that they had more authentic croatian food, being the only vegan restaurant for miles.
didn't get photos as we had just arrived in country and were extremely exhausted.

Everything about Urban and Veggie was fantastic, I chose the kebab and a side salad, it was divine, indulgent and healthy in equal measures. Our waiter was attentive, helpful and had good humour, and the outdoor space was lovely. Overall it was a real treat 💚

Staff member told me on the first night everything was vegan so I had some of my friends ice cream. As the menu says ‘100% plant based’ it seemed safe to assume everything was…plant based. A poorly designed menu and misinformation from staff means I have eaten dairy.
Read moreOn my second trip I saw on the menu there is the vegetarian logo under the ice cream but as its not also with the strudel I thought they were just confirming everything was vegetarian (as some veggies dont know what plant based means). I double checked and a staff member told me ‘obviously ice cream is dairy and not vegan’
Would not come here with allergies, terrifying the level of misinformation given. Ruined my experience as the food that was vegan was really good. Although now I’m not even sure that was vegan!
