Worth a visit or two - Edit
Jan (2) 2020
Read moreThe DIY spring roll fillings were fresh and tasty but really need more rice paper included for the price considering they are cheap as chips and this dish was $22. The peanut sauce was a standout.
'The wild one' bowl was underwhelming unfortunately and just didn't have the same finesse of some of the other dishes.
Last visit my drink was served in one of their husk keep cups which I wasn't keen on so today I made sure that I asked for a mug; it still came out in a husk cup...

Another very good dining experience! We enjoyed the big breakfast and nourish up bowl, in terms of quality and quantity. I've had better dirty chais, but the carrot cake we took home for later was very good, although a tad pricey ($7.50 for a modest slice).
Dec 2018
Enjoyed some delicious and very well presented buckwheat pancakes. The pancakes were very filling and all the accompaniments balanced the flavours very well.
The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Menu is actually entirely vegan (eggs only as addition to meals). Amazing brunch food. A little on the expensive side, but still my fav in AP.

Amazing service and great menu! - Edit
Love this place! Great, fast service. We had the diy spring rolls, sweet potato and zucchini fritters with a side of sweet potato fries. Took home a couple of sweet treats which were epic (Raw snickers bar and an orange muffin) 100% recommend!

tasty and filling meals - Edit
I went for lunch and breakfast and enjoyed both meals! For lunch I ate the sweet potato and zucchini fitters which were pretty good, my sister had deconstructed rice paper rolls ($22) which were delicious and fresh.
Read moreFor breakfast I had waffles which aren’t on the menu and change each weekend. They were beautiful and very filling, served with coconut ice cream and fresh berries, I also had an ice coffee which had a scoop of coconut ice cream though is $1 extra for non dairy milk.
Staff are super friendly and remembered us from the day before. They have a cabinet with muffins, vegan quiches and treats.
Pros: great staff, variety of tasty food
Cons: charges for non dairy milk , slightly expensive

Well thought-out meals but portions could be bigger - Edit
The food is beautifully presented and meals contain an exciting mix of ingredients. The only problem with it is that (with the exception of a couple of the options) the portion sizes are not very large, particularly considering the price. Attentive staff (though the food can take a while).

Nice cafe - Edit
It was great little cafe, lots of vegan option, but only thing I can criticise is that the customer can requests for eggs, but the cafe advertises as “Vegan”. - my almond coffee tasted really burnt. Overall it’s good cafe to try if you’re in that area!
Read morePros: Lots vegan options, Cozy, has parking
Cons: Coffee burnt, Option for egg (I know it’s vegetarian ...but)

They are lovely, but 40 min wait for lunch meant I had to scoff it in a hurry so go with plenty of time to spare!

Awesome cafe! - Edit
I went here for breakfast and had the clean lean green juice which was really yummy and the buckwheat pancakes which were amazing, the vanilla ice cream was sooo good, I think it's some of the best vegan pancakes I've had. They have so many other wonderful options as well I would love to go back and try more. Super friendly staff too ☺️

Fantastic brunch spot! - Edit
This place is fabulous! I had vegan waffles and a soy mocha for brunch, both of which were delicious! It's a lovely location with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were great. I'm looking forward to coming again and trying the many other vegan meals they have available!

All eateries should be like this - Edit
It's a shame Urban Projuice is a little out of the way or we would happily have eaten here every day of our stay in Melbourne!
Read moreDespite being really busy, all the staff were super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in this bright little café was comfortable and welcoming.
Food ranges from "lighter" breakfast options like smoothies, bowls, and granola, to heartier sweet breakfasts like pancakes with coconut ice cream, to savoury brunch options like scrambles, a tempeh burger, fritters, and salads. They also have smaller bites or takeaway options like muffins, raw treats, pies and sausages rolls, and wraps and enchiladas.
We tried the Arnold Schwarzanana smoothie (delicious and thick), tofu scramble (huge but a bit heavy on the spinach), buckwheat pancakes (gigantic stack of thick pancakes piled with fresh fruit and swimming in maple syrup, delicious but maybe a bit sweet), tempeh burger (incredible, thick juicy umami-filled tempeh patty, piles of spiralised carrot and perfectly cooked kale, just the right amount of creamy satay sauce, on a fluffy lightly toasted Turkish bun) and house granola (perfect blend of chewy and crunchy, not too sweet, served with juicy berry compote and a smear of coconut yoghurt, along with a side of non-dairy milk).
We loved everything, portions were huge - and they didn't skimp on the "fancy" ingredients - and beautifully plated. Although it looks on the pricy side, we found we were too full to eat until dinner so we got our value for money!
Only disappointment is not having been able to eat there more often!
Pros: Generous portions, good value, Beautiful and delicious food, Lovely décor and atmosphere, great service

Excellent mostly vegan brunch spot! - Edit
I like that all the food is actually vegan by default and those that want cows milk or eggs have to specify/add them. Since it's more common for vegetarian places to be veggie with 'vegan options', I just wanted to acknowledge this concept - I genuinely believe more folks will try the vegan (default) options as a result - good work, urban projuice!
Read moreI've visited twice and loved both the deluxe fritters and big breakfast (with scrambled tofu) that I tried. My (omni) friends also loved the tempeh burger, buckwheat pancakes and banana chocolate muffins, so that was a big win for vegan food right there. The soy milk they use for the lattes is really nice and creamy. My only (very minor) criticism is that I found the lean green juice a bit too sweet - probably too much apple and not enough kale for my taste, so if you like your green juice to taste like vegetables I'd probably steer clear of the lean green...
Pros: mostly vegan food , great menu, nice soy milk for lattes
Cons: lean green juice is pretty sweet

Great, lots of breakfast choices for vegans - Edit
I always find it difficult to find a cafe with vegan choices for brunch on a Sunday. I'd been wanting to try this place for a while. There were lots of choices for vegans, sweet and savoury breakfast. I found it difficult to choose but eventually went with the coconut crepe. It was so tasty. I loved the pulp fiction juice too. The service was efficient and friendly. They don't take bookings on weekend so we sat on a shared table. I'm planning my next visit!

afternoon coffee and cake - Edit
Located wrong on map but just around the corner.
Read moreVery nice place, great menu and outdoor seating if your bringing your fury friend with you. The only thing was that the stuff were very rude, after being sprayed with boiling water from the coffee Machine while I was having a look at the vegan cakes (delicious) and make my order, there was no apology or anything just "oh did that get you" and after quite a few other comments from the stuff it didn't make me feel welcome or like I would want to go back in a hurry.. Unfortunately.
