So much more than words can transmit

One of the ultimate stand out vegan places I’ve ever been to in my life. The three of us had their famous £22 Sunday Roast extravaganza each selecting a different meat (roast chicken, lamb and turkey). You are also provided with a Yorkshire Pudding then it’s self-service vegetables and all the usual trimmings such as sauces, stuffing and lashings of gravy. I had a bit of everything, piled my plate high then proceeded to devour the whole feast with a pint of their delicious Posh Lager overlooking Petticoat Lane Market. Not a bad way to spend an early Sunday afternoon before hitting The Oval for some T20 cricket action.

Pros: Amazing food , Wonderful staff , Ethical interior

Too expensive

The food is super expensive. Everything is fried and my friend and I felt really heavy and gross after eating here and left the restaurant stinking of fat. They are not accommodating to allergies. I wish there was more verity on the menu to. It feels like every other vegan burger place in London but more heavy and fatty. This restaurant feels like they are trying to appeal to meat eaters regather than people who have been vegan for while.

Pros: Cool environment , Good location, Involved in charity work

Cons: Super expensive, Fatty, Vegan food for meat eaters

Best vegan restaurant I've tried!

Amazing little vegan diner in the heart of London. We had the full English breakfast and the moving mountains burger, both were worth the money and my omnivore friend said the hot dog was the best he'd ever tried. Tasted like a bratwurst. I've been to a lot of vegan places and this one is hands down the best I've ever tried!

Pros: Everything's vegan , Dog friendly, non-profit, Amazing food

Cons: Expensive , No milkshake

Really Great Food!

Small but light space with a menu that ranges from burgers and dogs to all day breakfast and really amazing desserts. We wanted one of everything! Tried the burger, fries, chikn ceasar and mac and cheese. Wish they were a little lighter with the scallions [they're on everything!], but really good food.

Pros: Great Food, Nice staff, good variety

Cons: Scallions on everything

Great variety of vegan food

Finally, a place that serves more than just burgers. Very tasty and good vibe. It was a little expensive but it goes to helping an animal sanctuary.

Pros: Variety, Taste, Animal Sanctuary

Cons: Just a tad expensive, but not bad

Amazing brunch

Came here for a Saturday morning brunch, and I ordered the chicken & waffles. It was a big portion, good for the price. The waffles were perfectly fluffy, and the seitan chicken was crunchy and juicy in comparison. Drizzled with maple syrup, it was a wonderful meal. The coffee was average but the food more than made up for it. Very friendly staff too. Will definitely come back here for dinner.

Indulge and help animals in the same time

The great thing about Unity, (apart from the fact that profits go to vegan causes) is that you find most of your classic favourite foods in a vegan version. Even fish and chips or prawns! There are also healthy options.
I had the Surge burger, whose patty is made in house. I also tried the cheesecake which was delicious and beautifully served.
The first time I visited Unity was right when they opened and it did not leave a good impression on me. I am glad that I returned and that I could experience what my friends have been telling me for a while, that Unity has become one of the best vegan restaurants in London.

Pros: Inspiring, nice interior, Profits go to vegan causes, Beautiful food presentation

Average Vegan Food

The food here is nice enough but nothing I would rush out to have again. The prawn starter was the highlight of the meal. The service was friendly when we could get their attention but overall they were not very attentive.

Great food for a great cause

We had breakfast here and we got the full English breakfast and the chikken waffles.
Both were very nice and it still amazes me what we can now have as vegans.
Good drinks choice too, with all the non dairy milks available.
All the profits of the diner go to the organisation Surge, which does valuable work around animal welfare and veganism.

Pros: Great food, Friendly staff

Brilliant Ethical Vegan Diner

Love this place - food is great and menu continually evolving - favourites include delicious fish and chips, hot dogs, moving mountains burger and prawn tempura...
Best of all, this place is non-profit with all profits going to Surge (an animal rights awareness charity) + setting up an animal sanctuary.
With more and more chains trying to cash in on the vegan wave, it is great to be able to support truly ethical places such as this.

It was alright

There are better options in London. Tofish was great but the burgers were just alright compared to other well known vegan chicken burger joints. The atmosphere was nice though.

Pros: Tofish, Cool hangout place, Good service

Cons: Expensive but it’s for Unity charity

A No Brainer For Anyone Interested In High Quality Ethical Food

As someone who is transitioning from vegetarianism to veganism Unity Diner was a restaurant that I had to go to when I was in London and I was not disappointed! We were welcomed by friendly staff members and quickly given menus/ had our order taken.

The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection my friend who is a meat eater was astounded by the taste and genuinely loved the food. Everything was of such a high standard and it was lovely to see such a wide array of people dining here showing that veganism is truly for everyone. I had the Surf N Turf Dog, Chunky Chips and the Peanut Butter Blondie- I have no faults aside from the tempura tasting freakishly similar but this isn't necessarily a con just shows how hard the team work to create realistic versions.

Overall, I am so happy we came the food was 10000% worth the money, journey and service and I would wholeheartedly come back in a heartbeat.

Pros: Efficient service and incredibly friendly staff, Delicious freshly prepared high quality food, A moral animal rights backdrop

Consistently great food and service

I would highly recommend this as a place to take non vegans to showcase what can be done with fast food.

Came here for the second time with two meat eaters who were really impressed.

They have clearly put a lot of effort into the menu. It's very difficult to decide what to choose!

Upscale junk food dining

Food is on the pricy side but there is a nice ambiance that you get as well. I love that the profits are donated for animal causes.

Pros: Hip casual vibe, Tasty food, Dirty nachos was huge and tasty

Cons: Pricey
