Only open weekends, we made a special visit to check out Belleville's ONLY vegetarian option.
Read moreWhile waiting for our takeaway I was told they are about "95% vegetarian" and do "charcuterie boards and other things" that aren't vegetarian.
The food we got was simple and portioned small; maybe overpriced for what you actually get.
The coffee I had was very nice.
They also explained they were selling the restaurant and therefore Tropical Blend will be under new management soon.
Hopefully the new owners can confirm if they go 100% veg (or maybe vegan!).

I had the avocado toast and green smoothy. They were both delicious. The only criticism is that the avocado toast had too much salt and the meal was pricy.

Lots of smoothies, coffee/tea/chocolate options. Light menu. Had the vegan Thai noodle bowl - lots of fresh, crisp veg! Others had the grilled cheese and butternut squash soup, all very good.

Visiting this fine establishment made my day! It started off by smiling faces greeting me as I walked in, helping me get settled and choose what I wanted. They recommended items based of my likes and dislikes and I only had to wait a maximum of a couple minutes for my multiple orders to be made. The food was given, and I was amazed by the deliciousness of the food! The service, food, atmosphere, and everything in between made this an incredible visit. If you are around, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Popped in to Tropical Blends on a hot day excited to check it out. We had already had our breakfast which consisted of a smoothie, so just went in to get a nice cold espresso drink.
Read moreWe ordered an iced matcha latte and an iced latte. There was 3 staff out front, and two in the side room. Our drinks took over 10 minutes to make. Staff just standing around while a man made smoothies.
It’s extremely crowded in the front space where you wait for drinks. People who came in after us received their smoothies, twice. The matcha was not iced, and the iced coffee was weak. As someone who worked as a barista in a busy spot— it takes all of maybe two minutes to make two iced drinks; even in training.
First impression was not great. However, I will go back to get a smoothie and some food and give it another shot.
