Quick and cheap

Was on the bus to the bus station and saw this veggie place. Quickly hopped off and scran!

🍜Veggie dumplings with fresh rice noodles

🍜’Duck’ fresh rice noodles

£3.40 a huge bowl!

🍤salt n pepper ‘white fish’ is a dish I used to love when I was a kid. So good to be able to have it again. They used enoki mushrooms. The batter is soooo good!

Excellent food and service, would’ve appreciated an English menu

Awesome food and very friendly waiters and waitresses, nice venue. I would really recommend the 蘿蔔糕 in XO sauce! It tastes awesome!

If you’re coming for the snacks from their food stall I’d recommend coming during lunch to have them fresh and make sure they are still available.

My Cantonese isn’t great so I would’ve preferred an English menu. The menu with photos helped...but it didn’t cover all the dishes like the noodles.

Pros: Great food, Friendly service, Convenient location

Cons: They need an English menu

Local veggie diner

Friendly service and a fairly broad menu with lots of local favourite noodle, rice, and other dishes using mock meats.

I didn’t check if they have an English menu, the staff spoke limited English.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Egg clearly marked on the menu, Good value for money, especially at lunch

Cons: Dairy not marked on the menu

Tin Yu Vegetarian, Hong Kong

Tin Yu Vegetarian is a no frills HK style vego eatery. Cheap and cheerful is an apt cliche to use. It is inexpensive, good value for money and also they 2 ladies working there this evening were both very nice.

My co diner speaks Cantonese so I was presented with a half share of a set meal for 2. A mushroom soup, courgette and mushroom and some sort of deep fried thing and of course rice. There was also some sort of rice pudding dessert. 148 hkd seemed like a good deal for this to me.

With the tasty food and the good value for money I can imagine if I worked close to here I'd be in pretty regularly at lunch time. I'd certainly be happy to eat here again if I was in the area.

Sham Shui Po exit D2.

Pros: Vegan friendly, Tasty and inexpensive
