Basic Dim Sum Selection At Basic Prices

It's a streetside shop front that serves dim sum favourites at a reasonable price. Yeah, they have a few items that you'd want to order and with it being right next to the station, it could be really convenient if you're just wanting to grab some dim sum before work or picking some up on the way home.

Nothing was too expensive. Nothing tasted great but nothing tasted bad. We've certainly had worse dim sum in some restaurants. Do be mindful that you have to go inside (away from the initial counter) if you're wanting to add some sauce to your order. You have to take the initiative because the staff aren't very forthcoming.

There's a place to buy veggie products inside, including a freezer section, but to my eyes, they were quite over-priced for what they were and could be gotten elsewhere for much less.

We weren't convinced that the food given was as warm as it should be, but considering we were intending to take it home to eat later, this wasn't an issue for us. I could see it being a problem for anyone intending to eat this on the go though.

Pros: Location Right Next To The Station, Pricing Isn't Bad

Cons: Could've Been Served Warmer, Needed To Obtain Own Sauce, Overpriced Veggie Products On-Sale

Rude, and most of the food is gluten

The food is basically you choose a box size.. either $30/40/50/70. We chose the $50 thinking there’s a lot of selection. Apparently its for the gluten.. the fried stuff is not included.. so if you want the fried stuff you have to get it on its own. The younger lady who was serving us was very impatient with us.. we weren’t slow or anything just deciding.. and there’s no one queuing. but basically she rolled her eyes at us. food was plain and trust me you can go somewhere better with the price..

Pros: NOTHING

Cons: rude, mostly gluten

Friendly people and good food

I'm honestly not sure if what I got was vegan. The woman at the counter didn't speak English, so I just went off of the little bit of English that was on the labels. I got soup, white rice, and a box of veggies and mock meats for $40 HKD. I haven't tried the soup yet, but everything was delicious. It is so much food too. I am going to take my leftovers (about half of everything) back to my hostel for dinner later today. I'll definitely be back here if I can't find other low-cost meal options in the area.

Also, I recommend taking your meal over to the park nearby. There's plenty of places to sit, and the view is nice.

Pros: Friendly people, good food

Cons: Not sure if vegan, limited English

Friendly staff. Nice lunch set

Not much English on the signs but enough to get by with the friendly ladies who served me.

I got the lunch set which was a tasty mix of mushrooms and bean curd etc with some perfectly cooked rice and a simple veg soup on side. You get to choose a piece of mock meat or bean curd to have sliced over the top.

Add some chilli sauce for extra zing. Not enough vegies for my liking though, so I bought some baby bok choi from supermarket and put in some boiling water in a cup in my room... Then it was a perfect meal! The set cost $40 and was a good size .

The shop is easy to find.. On street to right of Watson's.. Opposite station.

I would recommend taking your own lunch box for the solids and a Thermos or jar for the soup if you can. About 12 mins walk away is Oil gallery (12 oil st between 7-11 and harbor grand hotel). It has lovely outdoor areas you can sit and eat and relax for free.. gallery grounds opening hours: Sun~Tues 10am~8pm, mon 2~8

Pros: Fairly healthy , Quick, Tasty, friendly

Cons: Take away only , Limited meal option (mostly dim sum) , Limited English menu

Yummy!!

I had siu mai, vegetable dumpling, seaweed rice roll and two chinese desserts (red bean one and sesame one). all these items are vegan! loved all of it a lot! the dim sum is tastier than most dimsums I've had in the past from other similar shops.

Pros: Location, bang opp Exit A1 of Tin Hau MTR, Lots of Vegan options, Cheap

Cons: no seating area even tho it's in a mall, staff dont speak much English

pretty good veg bites

I didn't really know what to pick, I ended up with 5 items and really liked 3 of them, the other 2 were kind of strange but maybe they just weren't my cup of tea. the mushroom stream bun was especially good. you don't have to eat the dim sum cold, they will heat it up for you.

also slightly more expensive than I was expecting based on other reviews, it was $60 for my lunch. still cheap though.

Tin Tin Vegan Take-Away, Hong Kong

Inexpensive take away selling what seems to be the usual suspects for all vego eateries in HK. I paid 30 HK bucks for a box of mixed mock meat items. Tasty food served quickly and efficiently at a bargain price.

Location is straight across the street from exit B of Tin Hau MTR station.

I'm updating this from my previous rating to 5. I stayed just around the corner from here for 12 days. I ate out of this place almost daily. Its terrific. Tasty food served quickly and efficiently at great value prices.

Anyone on non dairy watch out as at least one of the spring rolls is made using milk products. The staff don't speak much English (but far better than my Cantonese) but if you ask about milk and eggs they seem to understand.

Pros: Inexpensive, Tasty, Efficient and quick

Cold dim sum

Basically a counter on the sidewalk by the mall. The reviews lead me to believe they served mockmeat treats but all it was cold dim sum. Food was mediocre though the name would make you believe good vegan food is to be had.

Pros: easy to find

Cons: limited menu-cold dim sum
