not vegetarian - Edit

Pleasant cafe & may have veg & vegan options but as someone else says, this is not 100% vegetarian.

I saw both seafood & ham on the menu. HP noted as vegetarian really needs updating!

Cons: not vegetarian, as listed on HP

friendly and yummy - Edit

Just new to Totnes and had a very pleasant meal at the Thrive Cafe, with a delicious salade including grilled peppers and all sorts of tasty bits. Very good hummus and lovely fresh bread. Followed by a very good espresso, Looks like the lattes are good too, my friend had one, I don't drink milk, so not to worry. Staff was friendly and nice outside terrace to sit at. I recommend

Pros: Friendly, great value, good honest light food

Cons: on the high street (traffic)

vegan - Edit

This is not a vegetarian cafe as stated, they sell fish. They also do not have much vegan choice. I was offered a hummus sandwich (ohhh exciting...not) on honey bread. I had to point out that honey is not vegan, they then said thats all they had for vegans. Will not go again.
