Can't miss in Nashville! - Edit
This was the first vegan/vegetarian restaurant I ever went to, just a few short days after deciding to cut animal products out of my diet. I've been a loyal customer for 5 years now, and this place never disappoints. Some of my favorite dishes are the French Quarter Dip, Veggie Burger --Picnic Style, the Nachos, and the Spinach Dip. Don't leave Nashville without eating here!

I did a happy dance while eating - Edit
I’m here in Nashville for a conference and my hotel has extremely limited veg options. So my friend and I ordered delivery from The Wild Cow and ohemgee it is phenomenal. The portions were great and the food... oh the food! I got the buffalo Caesar wrap and it was so fresh and filling. A little spicy but with great other flavors so the spice didn’t overwhelm the wrap. I got a side of the chickpea salad and it was also good (and I didn’t like chicken salad as a meat eater). My friend ordered the taco salad with chipotle chorizo and loved it. She couldn’t finish the portion but enjoyed every bite. The chipotle chorizo was smoky and flavorful and really brought the salad to a new level. To sum up, this is amazing food that is also vegan and I loved this place so much I will probably go there for dinner.

A must try! - Edit
I was in Nashville for the weekend and heard that this place was rated best vegetarian food in Nashville in 2018, so we had to try it. We stopped by for lunch, and were VERY impressed. It was very busy (I can see why!) but staff was still super friendly. I got coffee since I had a late night before traveling, and it was really good. We each had a sandwich (I had the BLAT - which was more like thick ham than crispy bacon - but very good and flavorful). Everything tasted fresh and delicious. If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely be stopping by here.

Popular vegan eatery - Edit
Celebrated our daughter’s birthday with meat-eating relatives, but we all absolutely enjoyed our meal. We had to wait longer than expected for a table, but the restaurant offered a free appetizer for our wait. We all enjoyed the nachos with vegan queso and vegan sour cream. The queso was very enjoyable but would have been improved by more queso and fewer chips.
Read moreThe family enjoyed a philly steak sandwich, Reuben, and French quarter dip. Service was fast, staff was friendly and attentive, portions were very generous, and the food was phenomenal. We all shared a piece of chocolate chip cake to celebrate. Cake was a little dense and mostly sweet.
Pros: Mostly vegan... some dairy cheese , Friendly and attentive staff, Generous portions
Cons: Long wait for a table

Food was great. I had a Rueben made with tempeh with a chickpea salad on the side. Sandwich was delicious. Salad was pretty good. My non vegan friend had the lentil stew with a salad. And lived it. I will come back when I visit Nashville again.

Pretty good - Edit
Got the nachos wish they had more "cheese" and could have gone without rice in them. The squash special soup had way to much pepper. I really like pepperbut it was too much. The philly was phenomenal and so was the almond chocolate milk.

Garlic aioli! Need I say more? Everything we ordered was awesome. I rarely order soup, but they’re lentil stew was absolutely incredible. It’s a small side serving so it doesn’t fill you up. So good we ordered a second side of it!

Lewis and I ordered food from The Wild Cow through DoorDash because I had a $15 promotional credit and we wanted all vegan food. The menu didn't label the offerings as vegan or not, just some of the ingredients. So we just hoped it was all vegan. We got:

Love this place - Edit
I have eaten here many times over several years and always pleased. While I have tried numerous things, my personal favorite is variations on Beans and Greens, which can come with rice or quinoa, tempeh or tofu, and hot or regular. All are great! In fact, a cookbook I have called Plamt Pure Nation has a Beans and Greens recipe they credit to a visit to this restaurant. It’s usually busy and they don’t take reservations, so be prepared to wait 10-30 minutes according to when you go but tables usually turn over pretty quickly so don’t be discouraged. Wine choices are limited to white or red type selections, but quite satisfactory. If you are vegan and in Nashville this place is a standard.

I only stopped-in quick the night before the Nashville Half Marathon in need of a tasty vegan pre-race dinner. I had their burrito and absolutely loved it. Ran a PR, and not promising its thanks to The Wild Cow, but you connect the dots.

Very cute little spot in East Nashville to grab a bite to eat; entire menu is vegan/vegetarian. You can request any dish to be vegan. I had the black bean burger "picnic style", so it had bbq sauce and pineapple slaw on it (soooo good!!!), and a side of the chickpea salad - which I can NOT stop raving about! They also make a pretty good mimosa! This is my new favorite place to eat when visiting Nashville!

I used to live in Nashville and this is the best vegan/vegetarian spot in the city. I sill miss it on a regular basis. Everything is good, but the buffalo bowl is my all time favorite. I visit everytime I’m in town. It’s a staple between me and my friends.

BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT EVER - Edit
Technically they are vegetarian because they offer dairy cheese. But DAMNNNNN I had the taco salad and died and went to Heaven! Soooo good. My husband had the philly and loved it! He’s not usually a fan of seitan but he ate every bite, he also had the chickpea salad as a side and fell in love. Would recommend to vegans, vegetarians, and carnists.
