Great vegan option - Edit
We had the bean burger (mayo is default vegan at this joint) with the fries which were both really tasty.. even for a bean patty!
Read more3 stars because the service was super super slow and there was only one vegan option. Cute spot too with lots of interesting decor

Favorite in Marfa - Edit
I loooove The Water Stop. I’ve been here a couple times and it’s always a wonderful experience. Great service, great drinks, great food. My favorite is the grain bowl but substitute the chicken for the black bean patty. So nourishing, filling, and delicious.

The bean burger was spectacular, along with the string fries. Drinks were amazing. I appreciated the outdoor patio. Staff was exceptionally friendly and offered some fruit for my son. Not a lot of vegan options in Marfa and I would consider this a must for those visiting.

In a town with very few vegan options this establishment offers a very relaxed atmosphere, do not expect rapid service!! However the black bean burger and fries are pretty good!
