Amazing to go to a completely vegan place during our trip in Istanbul. We were mostly near the big sights where pickings can be slim but took a trip to Taksim Square and ate here.

Great value and great service. Definitely stop here if you are in the area.

Food was delicious. Service was perfect. Lots of options. Best vegan restaurant we’ve ever been to! We tried: steak marinara, white meat marinara (they’d run out of the steak the following day), shish kebab, crunch plate, soft tacos, doner burger and falafel wrap.

I love and support every vegan restaurant there is on this world: But this one is very expensive and not very nice to be honest. The very pricy main course was just an uninspired dry "kebab" thing😒I ate at Kem Küm restaurant just a few blocks away for not even half the price and it was world's apart!

Vegan Food Cartel is situated in Istiklal Street and has a lot of vegan options to try. The Tahini Fudge which is also gluten free tastes amazing and is a must try whenever you visit the cafe.

We tried the alfredo pasta, however they did not have the alfredo sauce anymore and asked if the curry sauce was also fine. It was delicious!! The "chicken" was crunchy outside and soft inside, so also perfect. Afterwards, I tried the chocolate "cheese"cake. I loved the cream, the base was a bit to salty for my taste, but it was still a great cake overall!

We had the bacon and cheese burger and the vegan doner kebab. The burger was a little dense and dry. The kebab and pita were soaked in sauce, which was great, but it was really heavy on tomato. I really appreciate that there are many options to choose from here and it's possible that we chose the wrong thing.

If you like the kind of vegan food that tries to replicate non-vegan foods, you'll like this place. It's nice in a place like Istanbul where there's so much meat everywhere. Here you can get vegan versions. It's fun and cheap but not gourmet vegan cooking.

An Auswahl gab es überwiegend vegane Fleischsorten. Die Bedienung konnte kein Türkisch war dennoch nett. Allerdings war das Essen eher in Ordnung aber nicht wirklich sehr lecker. Vor allem nicht für den Preis den man hier zahlt. Schade, aber eher nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

The food is delicious, there are plenty of options, wraps, bowls, burgers, salads, currys, they also provide some keto dishes. The portions are filling and the prices are absolutely ok.
