Good, but not great - Edit
I was so excited to come here after wanting to for a few years. First I want to say that the staff were really great! The guy at the counter was so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was just not as good as I expected for the price. I also want to say that I did order quite late and for take out, and I believe it would have been better fresh! I tried The Amazing Burger, Mofonguitos, and guacamole. The burger was not really anything too amazing…. I really enjoyed the Mofonguitos though. I have never had something like them!

Freshly prepared food in a small intimate setting. Casual, felt like we were welcomed into their home. Generous burrito bowl and El Cubano, also recommend the mofongitos.

We got a nice family lunch delivered. I had El Patacon sandwich, a bean burger in plantain “bun” with a wonderful Chimi sauce and we shared excellent quinoa tostadas.

This spot was recommended by a friend. And it did not disappoint! The soursop juice was delicious. I ordered the mofongo and Oh Myy! Absolutely delicious!!! I can’t wait to go back and try other items. I’ve been vegan for 5years and wish I found this spot sooner.

1st time here. Found free street parking easily. Small place that has been open a few months. Small menu. Comfort foods. Casual. Indoor dining available. Not a romantic spot but to pick up a quick lunch or dinner - it works. I had the mofonguitos and sweet plantains. Nice serving size. Reasonably priced. Tasty food. Left me wanting to come back and order more. Looking forward to trying their Cuban sandwich and other items off the menu.

Fantastic Vegan with Cubano style! - Edit
We stopped in for a late lunch and the cafe was bustling with amid-afternoon crowd. Ordered the Mofunguitos and Cubano sandwich which other reviewers recommended. Both dishes were great. In particular, the Mofunguitos had an excellent blend of tastes that really came together. We thouroughly enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was very nice and welcoming too. We’ll be back!

Had the Cubano sandwich. It was very good being light at the same time. The Mofunguitos were wonderful. Everybody was in agreement that the use of quinoa was unique and exceptional. The plantains were like a desert. Very pleased!!

After previously using delivery we stopped by the actual restaurant. The proprietor was wonderful. Per her recommendations we tried the Chofan along with the Mofunguitos. A great combination and an overall enjoyable experience. Five stars and then some.
