Everything is lush.

Great place for food, drinks, coffee and the friendliest doggies you've ever encountered. The humans are pretty awesome too
It's the only place I eat in Rochester now. I've brought my flat mate, friends and even my mother here who is pretty fussy and she loved it. I'm a vegan so I've only had the vegan options but my friends say the other options are just as delicious, everything is organic and made with love.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: You wont want to go anywhere else again

Very laid back place that is very vegan aware

Nothing marked vegan as such but they are very geared up for it. Even their yoghurt is vegan.

Pros: Very chilled & vegan friendly on the healthy spin

Cons: Chilled and need to talk to the chef about it...

Best vegan-friendly spot in Rochester

Best place with plenty of vegan options and easily customisable items due to sufficient amount of dairy free alternatives. Avocado on toast is delicious and always available, even if not listed on the menu. Bonus: cafe dogs.

Pros: Always vegan options and dairy alternatives, Best coffee in town, Avocado on toast is always available

Looking forward to going back!

We found this cafe by accident when we were visiting a relative nearby: it was an oasis and we loved it! I'm so surprised by the last negative review as this was not our experience at all. I'm so glad to see that the cafe is still open, and am hoping to return when we're in the area again (we live well over 100 miles away or would be back sooner). There were lots of things on the menu that I'd love to try, and staff seemed very knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit.

Left after being ignored for half an hour

We waited for over half an hour, but the staff just ignored us, even though it wasn't busy at all, there were just three or four other guests there.

Cons: inattentive staff

Truly incredible!! 10 out of 10

It was my first visit to Sea Plane Works in Rochester high street. I ate a late lunch with my partner and both felt like we had eaten one of the best vegan lunches ever!

Caters for gluten free, paleo diet, has a couple of meat options but the food is mainly vegan and vegetarian. All the produce is locally grown, to be honest I was really impressed by this place...

We started with a side of freshly made baba gonoush it was lovely with a hint of garlic, accompanied by either toasted sourdough bread or 2 colour carrots sticks. We opted for the yellow and orange carrot sticks.

We followed this with a hummus salad wrap with cashew cream dressing in coconut flat bread. I have never had coconut flat bread before, it was incredible! The wrap was served open with sprouting seeds and honestly it was just amazing!!!

For dessert we shared a raw vegan chocolate cheesecake.... Simply delicious and wonderful presentation for every course. Really can't wait to go back.

The staff were really knowledgeable about the food and was really helpful. The restaurant is lovely inside and although there is a set menu they are new specials each day. This is one of my favourite discoveries. Basically YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!!! ;) Most of the food is vegan, the place is also open for breakfast too.

Parking available opposite at the large NCP car park. Wheelchair access too.
