Visited here on Saturday 27th may 2023,with 10 friends. Absolutely stunning venue and the surrounding Gardens and river, beautiful. The food was 10/10. I had for starter the camembert bites 10/10 and the buffolo hot wings, then for main I had the tofu ramen. Everything was just perfect, from the staff to the food.

We heard about this place about a year ago and have been waiting to visit ever since! Being from sussex we made a specific detour to visit on a trip around wales. It did NOT disappoint. Going into a everyday pub with its regulars and a classic pub feel and being able to have anything on the menu was so nice.
Read moreStaff behind the bar were lovely and the food was insane. Fresh, tasty and generous portions. We had the crispy chilli beef, breaded Camembert and hunters chicken. All of which were amazing (especially the crispy chilli beef!)

Would recommend both starters and enjoyed the mains however the burger bun was long life & tasted very ‘sweet’. That would be my only negative from our meal & only reason I wouldn’t reorder the burger.
Portion sizes are huge with plenty of ‘fake meat’.

Read moreMains have large portions. Partner opted for the steak. An odd consistency- quite stringy. Would have been good shredded and made into a crispy duck dish. Partner enjoyed it. Was nice as a treat. Staff lovely. Gorgeous little British pub.

In the car drive up Upper Cwmbran Road turning right on the bend with Thornhill Road so you continue on Upper Cwmbran Road and the pub is on the right. Turn sharp right to get into the carpark driving literally past the pub.

The inside space has plenty of tables and chairs. The menu is large with something to suit everyone.
My bourguignon, mash and peas was a huge serving, and delicious. The tofu ramen looked fab and was also tasty.
Look forward to returning sometime.

My friends and I just couldn't get over how amazing it was, just hidden away. What a gem. Service was excellent and so friendly. Food was delicious and they are dog friendly. I'm considering moving just to be closer.

Had a delicious family meal for a birthday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every course. My personal highlight was the juicy marbles steak, so tasty I could have ate it twice. I just wish I lived closer to get there more often as their menu changes so frequently I always feel like I’m missing out 😂

We scheduled in to visit on a 6 hour trip to Wales and have wanted an 'excuse' to visit for ages. It way exceeded our expectations, the staff were amazing and the food choice and quality outstanding. My kids had the ramen and the hula chicken burger and I had the bbq ribs. We squeezed in apple pie and custard and oreo ice cream balls for pud. Everything was spot on and portion sizes were huge! Absolutely amazing pub just wish we lived closer.

We have been wanted to come here for AGES. And it 100% lived up to expectations. Such delicious vegan food, that even non vegans will love. We had chilli ‘beef’, garlic ‘prawn’ starters, and the ‘salmon’ risotto and mushroom ‘beef’ bourguignon. And it was all fantastic!! Lovely dessert too. Super lovely staff. Good prices too!

what looks like a typical country pub from the outside is a total hidden gem for vegans and anyone else who loves good pub grub! all the pub classics you'd expect without the cruelty. we took a detour off the M4 and it was well worth the stop. can't wait to go back!

Chilli 'beef' starter was excellent. Tofu ramen was fine, next time I'd order a faux meat main course. Was too full for pudding but the options looked great.

This is the only pub I have ever been too that is 100% vegan. The entire menu is vegan.
Read moreThe food here is to die for, it's absolutely incredible. I had hunters chicken and it could have been real meat for all I knew. I have also had a pasta which was unbelievably creamy.
They are extremely dog friendly and even have a dog menu and serve doggy ice cream.

This is a 100% vegan pub. The food is superb with a very wide and varied menu. My personal preference is the ‘Juicy Marbles’ at the moment but haven’t managed to try everything yet. I thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Crab’ Cake starter at our last booking. The staff are so friendly and cheerful. We usually take dog with us and she enjoys her sausage as well lol. Can’t fault this pub.

Delicious food, we had an entire plate of vegan steaks and fish, as well as some starters, and it was all amazing. We were surprised at the price too, only paid about £25 a head for starters, drinks and main! We went back later that day for dessert because it all looked so good but we had no room earlier. The staff were so lovely as well, friendly and happy to chat.

This time we had vegan steak, and it was mind blowing!
Everything is tasty and really well cooked. The staff are friendly and help you decide what to eat if you aren't sure.
It's well worth a visit. But book in advance if you want to eat! It gets full often.
