Never disappoints

I nipped into the Nest on Friday morning with my little girl. I had the avocado on toast (vegan) and she had the oreo cake (also vegan).
Avocado and toast is one of my staple go to's for a vegan breakfast while out and as simple as it is, lots of places skimp on it and they can be very uninspiring. But not this one, it was amazing! Best I've had in a while! Chunky artisan style toast, lovely creamy hummus, fresh avocado, zingy salsa with rocket on the side. Loved it!
We live near by so pop in from time to time, mostly for cake and coffee and the Nest has never let me down yet. There is always a scrummy vegan treat and the Oreo cake was no exception.
Choices are good considering this is not a dedicated vegi or vegan place. This is a real haven for parents.

Pros: Always has options. , Friendly atmosphere , Scrummy food and cakes

Family friendly.

Very family friendly, lots of events happening for babies & children under 6 years old. Good for parent & babie meet ups. Have some vegan things. There is also a board behind the counter with other drinks available, teas, coffee Ect.
I had the jacket potato with Vegan cheese. The potato was lovely but the cheese was abit crunchy in places. Will go again & try something else.

Pros: Easy to get too & is on a main bus roat. , Good prices. , Child friendly.

Community Cafe

Lovely community cafe with friendly staff and atmosphere. We visited with our young son who loved the children's play area, whilst we enjoyed an indulgent and moist slice of vegan chocolate cake, which was delicious. We also ordered a refreshing pot of orange blossom oolong tea and a plant friendly salted caramel cappuccino. There are some good inexpensive vegan options available and some other menu options can be veganised. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Pros: Good vegan options, Staff and vibe, Inexpensive

Cons: Serves meat
