Makes large cheesecakes that serve 14 or smaller individual pots. Can buy from premises or local food markets. Relocated from The Valley Shopping Village 10. Open Mon-Sun 10:00-18:00. Sunday’s at Newcastle Quayside Market 9:30-4.

We saw their stall at a market by the River Tyne in Newcastle. They had four vegan options (distinguishable by the green labels on the lids) and we went for a Bounty cheesecake and a Chocolate Orange cheesecake. They were both very tasty and came with a delicious brownie base. They both had a very strong flavour which I really enjoyed with the Bounty one but I found a bit sickly with the Chocolate Orange one. I also wouldn't describe them as cheesecake but more as a mousse, although that didn't take away from my enjoyment. I also felt that £4.50 each was a bit steep.

Nice and Cheesy Does It - Edit
I’d known about Simply Cheesecake for quite a while but just never got round to visiting their previous location at Team Valley. However on the first day of opening their fabulous new premises in Low Fell there was absolutely no way we were going to miss out. We picked up one each of the 3 vegan cheesecake pots that were proudly on display. Namely; peanut butter, pińa colada and mango, 3 for a tenner! I’ve had my fill of poor attempts at vegan cheesecakes in the past but boy do these guys know what they are doing. I am literally quite stunned at the taste, texture, quality and effort that has gone into producing these beauties. The fact that this place lies directly on my usual drive to work certainly won’t help with issues of sweet temptation.

Simply Irresistible - Edit
I visited here whilst attending a recent food festival. I got the chocolate ginger cheesecake, which was delicious. The base was made up of oats and went well with the rich topping but vegan digestive or ginger nut biscuits would make it even better. Staff were friendly and I would definitely visit again.
