Great food and great service - Edit
Amazing menu. I wish I could have been able to try more things because everything looked great. The scramble tofu was seasoned perfectly and the pancakes were super light and fluffy.

Amazing - Edit
Awesome food. I went with sceptical non-vegans and they had to admit it was good. Lovely waiters. Pricey, but Las Vegas is.

Wouldn’t Go Back - Edit
I’m not sure if we went on a bad day or what- I’ve read so many good things I was truly surprised how much I disliked this place. First off it took forever for anyone to even acknowledge us when we went in (and they were not busy), forever to come take our order, and forever to get our food. They managed to bring out the wrong dish for my husband but he ate it anyways. I had the “spicy” penne pasta and my husband ended up with the Mac and cheese. My pasta was basically noodles swimming in an unseasoned bath of tomato sauce (seriously it was like soup) and some peppers and sausage. There was nothing spicy about it. My husband thought his dish was also bland and for the bill and bad service we were not impressed. The ambience also feels like a hospital food court. Wouldn’t recommend especially for the cost. I was so disappointed too as this is an all vegan restaurant that I hoped I could support but it wasn’t worth it.

Massive menu selection 40+ items - Edit
So many options! The first time I had serious trouble deciding on my meal. I picked items that I thought would be difficult to replicate at home. Over two trips I had the BBQ pork mac & cheese and the triple decker lobster melt. Both were extremely flavorful, my favorite part was the soy based BBQ pork. This is a must when visiting Vegas!!!

Portions. The flavor was somewhat missing but the portions made up for it. Sometimes vegan spots don’t go for large American dishes

☹️☹️☹️ - Edit
I hate to give an all vegan place a poor review, but I honestly can’t stop thinking about how gross this food was. Not only gross but made me sick. It’s arrived soggy as can be (tofu blt sandwich) and the side salad was salted and warm. The pasta salad was watery mayo which was so nasty- and nothing had been salted. It cost over $50. Upset stomach all night. Major bummer.

My Go-To Whenever I Visit Vegas - Edit
This place has a great selection with a little bit of everything. I am a sucker for the chicken and waffles but there are countless other items on the menu that you cannot go wrong with.

Vegan Las Vegas - Edit
The Modern Vegan came highly recommended by a friend, so I knew I wanted to give it a try. My partner and I went visited Las Vegas for a concert and made plans to venture over to this 100% plant-based establishment in an unassuming strip mall a few minutes away from the Strip. They don’t take reservations, but we were there pretty early and it wasn’t too busy. We got seated right away and the food and beverage service was prompt and friendly. We were immediately impressed with the massive menu full of tempting vegan comfort foods — everything from burgers and mac and cheese to poutine, pancakes, biscuits, Italian pasta dishes, and even pad Thai. Based on HappyCow reviews, the breakfast dishes — especially the Sunday Funday, with pancakes, tofu scramble, sausage or bacon, and potatoes — is very popular, so I gave it a shot. I’m a big fan of breakfast food, and I was satisfied beyond any expectations I may have had for my food. My partner let me try the biscuits and gravy, which was not exactly the style I prefer as a Texan raised on white gravy, but I thought the biscuits were very good. I especially loved the pancakes. The butter melted just right and the pancakes were the perfect consistency. The portions were huge, but the food was so delicious that it wasn’t too challenging to nearly finish our plates. The one down side was that it was a bit more expensive than it needed to be, but isn’t everything in Las Vegas? I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items on my next Vegas trip. It’s five stars from me!

DISAPPOINTED - Edit
I gave it one star this app adds a star for some reason... If I think this place deserves one star that's what I should be able to rate it. Nothing of what I was served today or how it was served deemed anything above one star.
Read moreFor starters, this is Vegas it's a 110 outside, I ask for a ice water, I get a small tepid glass, and this is after I sat for 10 min and she came around d a second d time, because the order taker doesn't get your food and drink, another designated party does, and they missed that from the jump. I asked for the "roadhouse" chikn sandwich, and a side salad. Fries were the first bite... flavor was off, and crisp was no where to be found. $10 side salad was a coffee cup sized handful of mixed greens you get at the market in a tub for $5. Dressing was minimal, asked for a side of dressing, I was almost done with my meal, and had just eaten the salad as is. Now... the "star" of the entre, the sandwich... smh... consisted of a dense, moist (not in a good way) bun, barely any slaw on top of the thick, dense, overcooked patty... BBQ sauce tasted like nothing, oh but having asked for NO pickles, I got a MOUND of those, so that off-putting flavor stayed with every bite. So Im not sure if it was the hard patty, or the "bacon" that left the taste of something burnt in my mouth. Sad that the ONE place I choose as my full vegan meal before going back home, was this. $35 of complete dissatisfaction. As I said, ONE STAR

It’s great, depending what you get - Edit
I’ve been here a handful of times, and the selection and staff are incredible. The “go to” is the chicken and waffles because it’s the size of your head, but truthfully it’s more quantity than quality. While it’s great for committing carbocide, it lacks in unique flavor that makes the waffle or mash make me want more. The chicken is cooked to perfection, though.
Read moreI’m stoked that some of the rest of the menu really makes up for the weak waffles, like the crab cakes and jalapeño poppers. They’re delicious and made me realize each item is hit or miss, but you’ll just have to try them all to decide. The menu is super extensive, so it might take a while.

Loved the fully vegan and modern vibe of the restaurant. Feels amazing yo have so many options to choose from! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available all day. I had the Steak and V'eggs and they were phenomenal! I've never had tofu scramble that good before. My brother and father ordered the breakfast burrito and v'eggs Benny which were also just as good!

Disappointing 2nd visit - Edit
Ordered coffee. They only had almond milk instead of an almond creamer. The coffee was too strong for my liking or too old- not sure which. Got waffles- the butter was hard and not spreadable at all. Not near enough syrup. The waitress did bring us more syrup and some melted butter, but by then the waffles were cold.

Real disappointment! - Edit
We had jalapeño poppers and the stuffed portobello mushroom steak. The jalapeño in the poppers was not cooked, still crunchy. The cheese filling was lacking in taste and there wasn't much of it. The stuffed portobello mushroom steak was an oily stack of stuff (?) that had no real flavor. The accompanying grilled veggies were also soaked in oil. Lots of good vegan resturants in Vegas, pass on this one! Two stars only because they tried.
