Great food and great service - Edit
Amazing menu. I wish I could have been able to try more things because everything looked great. The scramble tofu was seasoned perfectly and the pancakes were super light and fluffy.

Delish - Edit
Excellent vegan comfort food. The stuffed jalapeños with sauce were amazing. The buffalo burger was excellent, but the grilled cheese was even better. The french fries were decent, but I would recommend skipping them and opting for the salad instead

Best Vegan Diner - Edit
TMV is the best example of vegan diner food that exists here in LV with a diverse menu and hours of operation. Combined with a great atmosphere with one of the most epic plane views of any restaurant. Knowledgeable staff that combined make this one experience any foodie should not pass up.

so so - Edit
They have an extensive menu and it's all vegan so it's not a struggle to find animal-less food here, however it was really bland. It seems they tried to copy regular "normal" meat dishes and the menu consists mostly of meat substitutes. I didn't expect it to taste like meat because it isn't. This engineered food has nothing to do with whole foods since it's all highly processed and smothered in (vegan) mayonnaise and other fatty oils. Not a healthy choice... but vegan.

Cons: engineered, highly processed food, not healthy

Heavy vegan food - Edit
Outside looked like very sober, once at the front door, you hear the living noise inside, it was very noisy, crowded and fancy.
Read moreNice place, nice staff, heavy vegan food and compared to other vegan places in Vegas, it was slightly more expensive.
This was my second time here and my first time, was when it was only 3 weeks open.
The menu is huge with an amazing choice, I just missed some fresh veggie juices.
First time I took:
- Celery ginger shot
- Jamaica salad
- Was hesitating to try out 'The Nerd' burger, now I went for a bigger dessert and took the 'Gia Waffles'.
- the 'you gotta be kidding me' to go, which was a bit disappointed, since it is 3 times the same cheesecake with just another sauce on it.
This time I took:
- Skillets #1 Asparagus, mushroom, green onion, mozzarella. (I overlooked that big part of this plate is potatoes).
- The Snob burger.
- Gia waffles to go.
Personally, I found the food very heavy.
The potatoes and waffles are extremely heavy, and I was not the only one not being able to eat everything which is a bit a shame.
Overall a nice experience, I would just recommend to take one dish at a time, wanting to test several things like I do, is here not really a good plan.

9/30/2018 CLOSED - Edit
Didn’t rate this establishment, the two stars were automatically given by Happy Cow (what’s up with that?). Call before you go, when we went there was a sign on the door saying Modern Vegan was closed through October. No explanation on website.

What ever happened to customer service? - Edit
This was my first stop off the plane on Friday 9/28/18. The staff was amazing, friendly and very accommodating! The chick’n & waffles were amazing! The mashed potatoes were good but lacked salt. Fast forward to Saturday morning 9-29 (My Birthday) - we walked in with coffee and before we were greeted we were told outside food wasn’t allowed - but we weren’t told that the day before. Whatever take the coffee they were almost empty anyway. We order 3 different meals the BLAT, MAC & Cheese Balls & PB Delight. Everything was fantastic!!!! We were given plates that were not larger then a slice of toast... When we asked for larger plates the waitress responds “Let me see if we have any” I’m sorry do you not normally have plates in a sit down to eat establishment? Anyway as we were brought back 2 plates we noticed they were dirty.. When asked for new clean plates we watched the waitress go over to the kitchen window to wipe them off - not wash them or get new plates... When asked for a new plate she takes it back to the window and we watch her and the owner & cook inspect the plate looking at the dried up old food and laugh & joke about it. Really???? This is how you treat your paying customers? Despite the good food; the lack of customer service received makes this a No for me in the future!!

Nope.... - Edit
One star for being Vegan and the second is for the cleanliness of the establishment. If you love salt, this is the place for you. All I could taste was salt. I ordered the Reuben, it tasted like a salt sandwich. My wife had the Fried Chicken.....that was "Fried Salt." Look, I am from North Carolina, I am used to to a heavy dose of salt, but this southern boy had more than my heart could take, (literally) In all seriousness any place that has 4 and 1/2 stars on here should be leaps and bounds better than this place. I have been Vegan for 2 years and this is the worst Vegan restaurant I have ever eaten at. The prices were WAY to high for the amount of food that I received. My wife and I ordered the "cheese" cake trio for $13. I think the cheesecake came from the Kid's Menu, because I truly don't know what my money went to. Also, the cheese cake was supposed to be Strawberry, Blueberry, and Peanut Butter. What the menu neglects to tell you is that it is plain cheesecake with some fake tasting syrup, a dollop of Jiffy peanut butter, one strawberry sliced paper thin, and 3 blueberries. Look that is ok, but not for $13. Overall, I am sad. If a non-vegan ate here I would be afraid they would never go vegan. It does not represent our community well, and that is the worst part. Ownership, if your reading, you've lost a vegan with a large following. Customers, there are plenty of other great vegan restaurants in Vegas, go else where and save your self the drive/uber money. You'll be happy you did. Thanks.
