Amazing menu. I wish I could have been able to try more things because everything looked great. The scramble tofu was seasoned perfectly and the pancakes were super light and fluffy.

Decent food but slow service - Edit
We went for breakfast on a Sunday. Only about half the tables were full, but we waited over 30 minutes for our food. But it may have just been an off day.
Read moreThe “What Happens in Vegas” was ok, but the scramble was bland. The nachos and club sandwich were delicious.

Delicious breakfast skillet. - Edit
Our family visited the modern vegan during our short visit to Las Vegas. Husband had the eggs Benedict my daughter had a lobster roll, her boyfriend had the steak and eggs and I had the tofu egg skillet with potatoes and cheese. I absolutely used to be a huge fan of skillets before going vegan and this was the best I’ve ever had since. It was big and filling and the potatoes were delicious, the vegetables were sautéed perfectly and the cheese was melted and on point.
Read moreThe steak and egg plate was really, really good. My daughters boyfriend definitely enjoyed it. My daughter likes to try new things so she wasn’t a huge fan of the lobster sandwich however the waitress was kind enough to inform her before ordering that sometimes people with texture issues might not like it so much but she wanted to try it anyway, so just a heads up on that. Haha
Wish we could’ve had a chance to go back and try other items off their menu. They had a waffle plate that looked absolutely freaking delicious. The menu was amazing. So many things to choose from. Super great place and we hope to be back one day soon!
Pros: Huge menu. , Breakfast all day. , All vegan!

Must Eat Here!! - Edit
This place is the bomb for vegans and non vegans alike. A must visit in Sin City!! Just finished a buffalo chick’n sandwich with French fries and I did not leave a single crumb! The wait staff were phenomenal and pointed me in the direction of all the classic favorites here. I’m now waiting for my peanut butter cookie sundae and I’m pretty certain it won’t disappoint. Such a great experience and will be sure to return when I’m back in Vegas.

Read moreWe enjoyed the jalapeño poppers, super yummy and fresh!
Also enjoyed the tofu scramble and breakfast potatoes. Didn’t care much for the vegan bacon, but the breakfast links were super super yummy!
The TMV sauce reminds me of chick Fil a sauce. And that was a plus!!!
Loved everything 😌

Mind Boggling Dining Experience - Edit
If you happen to be nearby the strip, which as a tourist you obviously are, this restaurant is a short 15~20 minute walk from the Flamingo hotel. Push through the heat and ignore the sweat you'll occur along the way because, you'll be entering a Vegans delight the second you open the door. The menu has everything a vegan couldn't imagine being served; A lobster roll sandwich, Chicken fried steak, and even corn dogs. The ambiance is very low-key and decor is contemporary, but still comfy. It's complex and long menu doesn't substitute for a lack of flavor either, so be prepared to enjoy delicious food!

Don't believe or even look at the 1/2/3-star trash comments.
Read moreIts probably from people who just lost money in a casino.
After being in a convention in a casino (=Zombie land) for almost a week with almost no vegan options we are very happy that of all vegan restaurants we opted for this one. Its a stylish and clean place with decoration in a modern all black and white fashion.
Menu is vast, portions are generous, especially the Portabello steak which came with lots of asparagus, broccoli and cauliflower on the side.
Business was going well as the many spaces of the place kept filling up towards evening.

Bad service, inconsistent food - Edit
We've been there 3 times. The taste of the same dishes changed dramatically. Some of the dishes are really bad or not fresh, and they DONT like to exchange or return them. The place smells bad and it seems like since their appearance in Dirty Dining, not much has changed. Will not go back.

CELIAC avoid this restaurant - Edit
Last night I I went with friends to this restaurant. We are all plant based but one of them was also Celiac.
Read moreTheir menu has plenty of Gluten Free options. We went super excited to try their food. My friend ordered two appetizers, Their Breakfast Potato and Loaded Nachos, both marked with GF. When the appetizers arrived, He wanted to order Burger (they do offer gluten free bun) with fries. Their fries also marked with GF on the menu but because of past bad experiences with "fries" He asked if they fry something with gluten in the same fryer. Since the waitress was new, he could not answer the question, so he went to the Chef to ask. In the meantime, He ended up eating 2 nachos. The waitress returned and said that their fries are not gluten free since the fried something with gluten in the same fryer. Therefore, also the Nachos and the breakfast potatoes are not gluten free. Too late for my friend!!!!
He was confused because on the menu the nachos and the breakfast potatoes were marked GF, and He could not see any warning on their menu about cross contamination. He asked the waitress to please call the chef so she can explain better what options are and to provide my friend with answers why they mark it GF when it is NOT!!! Well, the waitress came with another person that claimed she is a "dietitian" and both apologize on behalf of the chef because the chef was "too busy". The person said that the do have 2 separate fryers but sometimes they just use one fryer to fry all their food. The Chef did not come out to say nothing!!! And when I got the bill, I was in shock to see that they did not even give discount for their mistake. My friend did not want to create a scene in the restaurant because we were with other guests. He just kept my self-calm and asked me to write this review. They definitely knew they were doing something wrong marking GF on their food when it is not!!!! My friend couldn't sleep the whole night, end up vomiting and having severe stomach pain. I wrote this review not to put their food down, the food was delicious. This restaurant should not mark their food GLUTEN FREE when in reality they don't use the dedicated gluten free fryer. This show lack of education!!! So, if you are Celiac, DO NOT go to this restaurant!!!!

I’d Give it Another Try - Edit
I’ve only eaten here a couple of times, but the dishes have been hit or miss. Nothing stood out for me as delicious except the “Oh My God” brownie sundae. The mac & cheese I ordered tasted so strange I couldn’t eat it. The waffle on my Chick’n & Waffle was tasty! I wouldn’t mind going again to try more dishes, but I feel pretty neutral about the restaurant at this point.

Good vegan food, proximity to airport - Edit
I've been vegan for a few months now and I had been dreading my work trip to Vegas because I had never heard of any vegan restaurants in Vegas. Turns out there are quite a few options on Happy Cow. I tried 3 vegan restaurants in Vegas and I have to say that the Modern Vegan was the best of the 3. Two things stood out for me - the sheer number of food and juice options and the the location (proximity to the airport). I dined here twice (arrival and departure from the airport) and tried the Fit [censored] (Tofu scramble), the Pad Thai and a couple of their smoothies. The food was good and contrary to many of the comments on Happy Cow, I thought the service was good too. All in all, I'd say it was a good dining experience and I'll probably return since this is perhaps the best vegan place in Vegas for now.

Outstanding food, good selection - Edit
The food here is WELL worth leaving the strip! Everything we ate was delicious. The server was friendly and made excellent recommendations. My husband had the Louisiana chicken, which was amazing, and the stuffed portobello steak was unlike anything I've had before. If you're in LV, this place is a MUST.

Was so excited to go here as an out of towner.
Read moreservice was shocking, food came out all at different times and my dish was totally wrong. server was hopeless and forgot several things, didn’t check on us once, only came once flagged down and called for, Pad Thai tasted like someone dumped half a jar of peanut butter in the pan 🤮 Really disappointed in my experience.

This is my go to spot in Vegas. Every time I come to Vegas, I go back to this place and it's just wonderful! Their breakfast and brunch option are incredible. Steak & eggs, chicken & waffles, everything I've gotten has been delicious, and the staff here is super friendly. Their menu is a bit overwhelming, but honestly it just keeps me coming back to try more and more.

Great Food but... - Edit
My wife and I have eaten here a number of times. The food has always been amazing. The wait staff has been amazing as well. The only issue that we have dealt with each visit is that our food orders do not arrive at the the same time. Often one of our main courses will arrive and then the other will arise 5-10 minutes later. It seems that the kitchen struggles to get multiple entrees out at the same time. As I said, however, the food is amazingly good!!

Loved this place. - Edit
Visited Vegas for a week long vacation and ate here several times. Everything we had was amazing. Ask for the Thursday burger special... it was great!!! Other great items included the waffles, fish tacos, burgers, the buffalo, and bbq sandwich. They were all amazing. The staff was amazing. Only one smallish thing... the kitchen had trouble getting the food out all at one time. It caught us off guard at first... but... it doesn’t take away how awesome this place is. Hope to go back if we visit Vegas again.
