Ever since i popped in for a cuppa after taking the X53 (?) 'Jurassic' Bus from Bridport for a cheeky day out to Lyme Regis.. i've made a point to visit every time i'm in the area😄This last visit was also the 2nd time my friends from Bournemouth have eaten here too.. and they are full of praise for the food, ambiance &c. Staff are friendly and helpful. without being over attentive. Once again i had the banana blossom 'fish', with chips, mushed minty peas and that dip i can't remember the name of. YUM!! Just the sort of filling, tasty repast you need after several hours scouring Monmouth Beach for fossils :)

Best fish n chips - Edit
The banana blossom fish n chips were delicious. The peas were so yummy. Vegan apple pie with ice cream was soooo good.
Read moreWe also had breakfast here. Full vegan English was good. Sausage, beans, tomato, mushrooms and hummus. The latter being a strange addition. Maybe a hash brown would have been more suited, but still a great breakfast.

we visited whilst on holiday and we’re so glad we did! we had the banana blossom fish and chips & the banana blossom fish finger sandwich - so nice to have happy fish and chips at the seaside! gorgeous view of the sea out the back & dog friendly too 🐾

There looked to be quite a few interesting vegan options. I’m a big fan of banana blossom ‘fish & chips’ so didn’t look any further. It was delicious! Not the cheapest but all very nice.

I tried the vegan fish and chips - the peas were lovely as was the homemade tartar sauce, the vegan fish was tasty with a lovely crisp batter. Lovely sea views from the outdoor patio.

Went for lunch on a wet and windy day and was delighted with the amazing Thai Sweet Potato soup and coronation chickpea sandwich. My partner had the vegan fish and chips and was equally impressed. We'll be back!

Spent a glorious hour sat on the sun terrace in warm early summer sun with 'fish' and chips and ginger beer. Their battered banana blossom with chips, peas and tartare sauce is a game changer for me. Lovely flavours and the cod-like flaky consistency. Wonderful!

Absolutely Delicious banana blossom ‘fish and chips’ with caper tartare sauce and pea shoots and peas…it was cooked perfectly! Staff were fab, very family and dog friendly which is always a bonus!
Read more10.04.23 have now tried their Vegan Breakfast…really flavoursome and great alternative vegan sausages, light and tasty. Staff friendly and helpful.
