Good breakfast choice - Edit
Cute restaurant with a greasy spoon vibe but good interior decor. Staff are friendly and happy to help. The food itself is solid. I had the vegan breakfast and really enjoyed it - the scrambled tofu was the highlight for me! The sausages are the type with a mushy interior, so the texture was largely a bit same-y, but tasty and satisfying.

Really good breakfast - Edit
The breakfast here was really tasty. The scrambled tofu was delish and had little bacon pieces in. You got a huge stack of toast too. The sausages are kind of vegetable/potato sausages but still tasty . The coffee wasn't amazing though tbh!

Best breakfast in Manchester - Edit
We went for the Vegan Royale and shared a plate of waffles. The food was out of this world, but I especially liked the bacon bit infused tofu scramble. The waffles are the best I’ve had in a long time and after a night on the town I appreciated the fruit that accompanied it. The coffee is also fantastic and the staff are lovely. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Manchester.

Decent Value - Edit
We stopped here for breakfast as sadly we couldn't find a fully vegan place for Sunday breakfast in the city.
Read moreThe breakfast was a good size for the price and the sausages were really good. I'm not a huge fan of peppers with a breakfast though and it was a shame that you couldn't have the tofu scramble without the vegan cheese.
We'd eat there again if we're in the city and couldn't find a vegan place but we were put off by a cartoon on the wall that they'd had custom made which labelled vegan food as vegan poop!!
So if you're a vegan cafe in the area please open on Sunday mornings so we can give you our money next time instead!

Good vegan breakfast - Edit
Delicious full English vegan breakfast. It would be great if they also offered a small version of the breakfast as the one they have is a lot. Other vegan options available as well. Cashless business.

Really good breakfast - Edit
Very nice vegan options, I had the Vegan Belgian Waffles and my partner had the Plant-based Manc-Muffin. They were both delicious, but we should've ordered a side with the muffin as it wasn't enough on it's own. We booked for 8 people and service was very fast and all staff were friendly and inviting depsite it being busy at the time (Sunday midday). I wouldn't hesitate to return here.

Nice breakfast - Edit
Visited the Koffee Pot a few times and always really appreciative that they have gluten-free options! The VE/GF breakfast is tasty and the filter coffee is really good. Quite a few other vegan options available, in addition to plant milks and vegan spread available for toast, upon request.
Read moreThree stars instead of four because I felt dodgy after my last visit, which is usually a sign of gluten cross-contamination. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re allergic to gluten.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, ‘GF’ options, Lovely staff
Cons: Potential risk of allergen cross-contamination

We had a good vegan breakfast at Koffee Pot, but room for improvement. There is a good vegan range, and the pancakes were very good.. and whilst the vegan breakfast was good, it was a little hodge-podge. Would return but could stick with the pancakes!

This was a nice cafe with a decent vegan selection on the menu. Tasty, but very beige! A bit of green on the side would have been lovely.

Food is ok but was served cold - Edit
I ordered the pancake stack with vegan bacon and maple syrup. The bacon was great - but the whole meal was cold. If it was all warm/hot would have been so much better!!

Does what it does well - Edit
Sometimes Koffee Pot hits the right spot. It is a diner style cooked breakfast place so don't go expecting anything fancy. Koffee Pot feels more down to earth than most of the other breakfast places nearby and I like that.
Read moreThe food isn't anything exceptional, it's a solid booked breakfast. Their vegan options are better than many places- black pudding, bacon, roast butternut squash. The price reasonable, £9 for a full cooked breakfast including tea.

very bad experience. - Edit
I came to The Koffee Pot today for brunch. Ordered a mocha and BALT bagel and my partner a hot chocolate and walnut pancakes.
Read moreWhen it comes to my food it was absolutely terrible. The bagel was so stale that it was impossible to chew or cut, avocado was brown and the coffee was burned.
My partners hot chocolate was made out of burnt milk as well (we've heard how it was frothed and it hurt our ears) and it even got the skin on top so it clearly wasn't 65 degrees lol. The pancakes were quite dry as well and didn't have much flavour.
They offered a replacement after we complained about the bagel and when I asked for the pizza fries instead I just got a small plate of regular fries which were also dry and some of them undercooked.
Overall we had a very bad experience and would definitely not recommend.

it's alright... - Edit
Breakfast is ok, but this place is gererally really busy and you'll have to wait a while to get a seat. It's dog (and cat) friendly, so that's good. The sausages are those really salty frozen Glamorgan sausages, so everything on the plate has the same texture and there's not much flavour. There are much better vegan breakfasts in NQ.

Breakfast - Edit
We came here for breakfast with our meat eating friends. Me and the hubby each had the vegan breakfast which consists of veggie sausages, beans, hash browns, mushrooms, spinach, 2 slices of toast and a mug of tea for £8. Bargain for a good sized portion.

perfect comfort food - Edit
I love dining here because I don’t feel like eating out is difficult or that I have to compromise on vegan food in a restaurant catering to meat eaters. Breakfast is no fuss comfort food and not roasted vegetables again.
