One of the Best Vegan Restaurants in Hamilton - Edit
Food is always amazing, I love the Crunchwrap. Wait time is not bad and customer service is good. Very fun interior. Great unique menu items that you won’t find elsewhere. Bakery items are decorated wonderfully but a little too sweet for my taste sometimes. Can be a little pricey but nothing too out there compared to other restaurants in Hamilton.

I was so relieved to be visiting Hamilton area all because of finding this restaurant. I was blown away at all the options they had on the menu. The taste was very hearty and flavourful , and portions sizes were perfect.

Anti Warrior Burrito - My partner ordered this and I think he nearly died upon first bite. He proclaimed before we even got the food that this was going to be his favorite place, and he was not wrong!
Jumbo Pepperoni & Cheeze Pizza Pocket - we shared this and it was great! So different from anything we have in Columbus, which made it so much more exciting!
Turkey Bacon Club - What I ordered! Definitely could had gone with something crazier, but I was honestly nearly fooded out on our trip, so this was the perfect choice for me.

I love the atmosphere here and the selection of baked goods in their showcase. It’s a small joint with limited seating. Friendly, hardworking staff. Great place to order a special vegan cake as well, pricey, but worth every dollar 😊

Went here before a Ticats game in 2019 and haven’t stopped thinking about it since! Boyfriend got the Crunchwrap and I got the Anti-Warrior Bowl. It was what dreams are made of. Can’t wait to go back and order extras to take home! Portion sizes were great & prices fair. I wish I lived closer!

Renewed my faith in vegan restaurants. I got the loaded nachos and the crunch wrap. Either would have been a great meal on their own. But I wanted to try two things. The tvp beef was fantastic and cheeses were great.
Read more$30 after tax is hefty in my mind for these two items but at least I had half a crunch wrap for the next day.
Would be nice to see some combinations or sampler plate offered.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Hamilton.

Ordered from here several times now. The Frito Burrito is my favourite. Their cupcakes are amazing as well. The pizza pockets always seem to be sold out, but they were great when I finally got my hands on one.

So me and my boyfriend were craving sugar and decided to try their Blizzurds. I got the Oreo one and he got the Cookie dough. They don’t taste bad, but they do have a very strong vanilla taste. They’re also literally the same; the only difference is that the Cookie Dough one has chocolate chips.

The owner is such a badass, I love her!! Super yummy food with great portion sizes. I make the hour trip often when I get a strong craving for Hearty Hooligan. All junk food, all day = my kind of place. Super inclusive environment, everyone is welcome there as long as you’re not a dick. The wacky punk rock vibes are super sick and change the stereotype on veganism which is exactly what she goes for. She does custom cakes as well with horror themes and such. Totally different than any other vegan resturant in a great way! The owner is also openly super appreciative towards her staff and puts them first which is super refreshing to see. My boyfriend and I’s favourite is the mac & cheese burrito!!

Only stopped in to pick up some of their desserts/bakery items. They were all great but the cupcakes.... the cupcakes were SOOO GOOD. They apparently sell other items like pizza pockets and prepared salads (according to their social media accounts) in a fridge but I did not see any of that? Next time I go I will definitely be sitting down and trying their menu as the food other customers were getting looked amazing.

Read moreI visited today for the first time after hearing so many good reviews. The food options were plentiful and very tasty. I had the vegan Mac n cheese fritto burrito. Delicious.
However I have to say that the customer service was a bit lacking. I arrived and noticed the owner was talking with some patrons. Not being here before, I walked up to counter and mentioned it was my first time. I did notice the menu items written on the wall. I viewed them. Made some quick picks. Then I said to the employee behind the counter that I will sit and order. She said ok. I sat and waited. I looked at her. She was looking at the owner. So I assumed the owner was going to come over to take order. Minutes when buy and I wasn’t given any attention. Then I saw someone come in go to counter and order. So I went to counter and asked is there a menu for the table or do we order from the wall. She said from the wall. Not sure why she didn’t say that the first time and not just let me sit there.
So I ordered and enjoyed the meal. I mentioned to the owner that I am a new vegan and vegetarian IG blogger that posts for reviews of locations around the world and asked if I could take picture of the menu wall. She said ok and went back to doing what she was doing. No interest in asking how was my meal how did I enjoy myself and if there was any questions I may have. Especially considering I mentioned my online posts.
Seemed to not be interested at all. Pretty surprising. Just figured there would be more of a customer service experience geared to retaining future visits.
I will give it another try in the future and see if things changed.
But the food selection was great and the dish I had was awesome.

This is a MUST VISIT spot for myself (and friends/family) when anywhere near the Hamilton area. I’ve actually made many trips from out of town just for the food here. Plenty of choices for out of this world baked good, burritos, wraps, soups, bowls and some of my absolute favourite caffeinated drinks!

Plenty of street parking around and a large parking lot directly behind.

Cons: Habit forming, Kids won’t want to leave, You’ll be tempted into gluttony

All vegan menu. I had the chilli cheese dog and my partner had the loaded nacho burrito. We also had blizzurds. Everything was very tasty and I would definitely recommend the burrito again. It tastes exactly like taco bell. The lady at the counter was very friendly and we even chatted afterwards. Overall great experience despite it being a bit busy.
