Everything I've eaten here has been delicious!! The Golden Tofu Wrap is sooooo good and the sweet potato fries are super crispy!! Also, almost every meal can be made vegan. You have to eat here when you're in Athens 😉

You can't go wrong here! Vegan cakes and cupcakes are over the TOP! Tofu cubes can't be beat, I get the Golden Bowl almost every visit or pickup. Lots of outdoor seating with table service. Not a lot of mask-wearing these days, but they have been doing great over the pandemic otherwise.

We loved this place. We had the reuben, the steak sandwich (a daily special), side salad with ranch, burrito and chocolate cake and everything was great. All the dressings are made in house and they are (almost?) all vegan. The seitan was super thin shaved and packed with flavor. Vegan cheese upcharges on almost the whole menu which is the only downside.

i went here for my birthday and just let me tell you how delicious it was. my sister and i enjoyed a rueben sandwich, the mediterranean platter, and a slice of lavender lemon cake - all vegan!! the rueben was on this very tasty swirled bread, and was ooey, gooey, and stunning. the platter had all of my favorite veggies taut the only thing was that the pita was kinda tough:/ but i would still get it againnnn. finally the cake was very good ofc! it was a lively birthday meal😋😋

The Grit has so many vegan choices that I find it hard to choose. Ive had the noodle bowls, burrito, and seitan gyro. All have been fabulous.

the lunch and dinner menu is amazing! there are so many options and most of what’s not already vegan can be made vegan by just asking for no cheese or sour cream. my favorite is the golden tofu wrap. however, the brunch menu does not have many vegan options. i got he vegan quiche and it was way too salty and overpriced.
Read moreedit: they changed the menu and got rid of some of the best sandwiches. the prices also went up and portions went down. you can tell some of the waiters/waitresses hate their jobs. this place has gone down hill, but the food is still good.

Fun vegetarian restaurant with a lot of vegan options - Edit
The Grit has a casual, funky atmosphere and a lot of good food. There are quite a few vegan options, but it is still mostly lacto-ovo. The desserts are probably about 30% vegan. They use a lot of tofu and tempeh and prepare them well. The food is pretty simple, but it's very tasty.

My mom and I both got the falafel pita wraps and it was YUMMY. I also got some vegan mashed potatoes because I’m not used to getting to order those and they were also yummy. We also tried their vegan chocolate cake and it was G O O D! I would highly recommend this place.
