Great place - sad it has closed - Edit
We were passing through Manchester on 9th August and were so happy to find The Green Beautiful only to find it was its last day of trading. We had a really great lunch, very tasty sandwiches and friendly staff. When I asked why it was closing they said they had been open 3 years but just hadn’t been able to make it work - it goes to show that we must support these small vegan venues.

LOVE the Green Beautiful! - Edit
We come here every time we are in New Hampshire, and as many times as we can fit in. The best people, the best food. I am a huge fan of the Local wrap, but everything on the menu is out of this world tasty.

I found the Green beautiful on HappyCow. Walked from my hotel in the downtown area and was delighted at the vibe of the cafe and the delicious food on offer. All made onsite.

Can't wait to go back! - Edit
The whole menu is vegan including breakfast sandwiches, wraps (GF optional), lunch sandwiches, coffee and tea drinks, and an array of muffins/pastries behind the counter. The seitan fig sandwich and loaded grilled cheese were incredible and I also was able to grab some Rebel cheese products from the fridge - what a score! I especially appreciate the help-yourself water glasses and that all their eat-in service-ware is compostable on site.

Spectacular! - Edit
A great little all vegan cafe and gathering spot. We tried the Philly “steak” and cheese and the “chicken” Parmesan sub which was on special today. Both were absolutely delicious. The consistency of the seitan was spot on and seasoned perfectly. We also both enjoyed a good cup of coffee and brought home a smoked cheddar cheese wedge from their refrigerator case. Service was fast and super friendly.

A hidden gem in New Hampshire!!! - Edit
Stopped by on my way home from a vacation and visited this gorgeous spot; it’s everything you want in a vegan cafe! I got a green smoothie, a perfectly even blend of wheatgrass and pineapple flavor, delicious and has spinach you can’t even taste through the sweet and lightly green flavor. The Philly cheesesteak is not something I’ve seen so far veganized; this version might not fool a meat eater but for a vegan sandwich it was fantastically made, soft seitan, two cheese sauces, and lots of rich umami flavor from gooey caramelized onions and roasted red peppers that were incredibly fragrant and delicious, I basically inhaled it! The cafe itself is full of plants and artwork, a fridge and pantry shelf to shop some fun snacks and kitchen staples, as well as a small section of crafts, clothing, and vegan books for sale - many of which can be found tucked by the window for reading while you eat, as well as board games to play. Truly everything I’d ever want in a cafe!!!

Terrific lunch! - Edit
This unassuming little restaurant, tucked away on a side street, has an amazing vegan menu. I had a delicious grilled Caprese sandwich and hubby had the Cuban bowl (also really tasty). And the house-made chips were great as well. Super friendly staff. Would love to come back for breakfast.

A True Gem! - Edit
First time coming to The Green Beautiful on our way to Vermont. Don't let the neighhood scare you away. This place is a true gem with the best vegan food in the area! The cafe itself is cute and everything is made absolutely delicious and from scratch. I ordered the Pulled BBQ sandwich which was sweet, tangy, savory. Homemade chips were so crispy and well seasoned. My husband ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. I could not try it because it contains cashews but my husband loved it! We can't wait to come back!

Cute and Chill Spot - Edit
Got here as soon as they opened on a weekday and parking was scarce but found a spot on the street. The place itself was empty. The Bodega Breakfast Sandwich was good. I wish the coffee I had was stronger but happy to have a vegan option for a pumpkin latte! They have local art and items for purchase. Got my food to go but this is a very cute spot to just hangout at too.

Fantastic cafe! - Edit
This is a comfy, bohemian, all-vegan diner/cafe. I am so impressed that a vegan place that has no real competition in the area puts out such excellent, creative, well-prepared food. We had a beet burger 🍔, seitan steak bowl 🥙, drinks🥤, and some items to go (including a bagel with carrot lox 🥯 and a muffin🥧); we enjoyed it all!

Surprisingly good - Edit
1st time here. I found street parking easily. Indoor dining available. Friendly service. Various items on the menu … breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and a kids menu. I had their classic bodega breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. There was nothing wrong with it, but it just wasn’t for me. I would try something different next time. I also had their Philly cheesesteak sandwich which comes with house made chips. That was good and I really enjoyed it. I would come back to try other options.

Lovely place! The food was very good, we tried the Philly Cheesesteak, Caprese Panini, Classic Caesar, The Void & the chai latte. Everything was good, but The void lacked flavor. Still really recommend this place, a must try!

Passing through Manchester, stopped for lunch. Absolutely delicious! Had The Void, which is a substantial amount of seitan and fixings, a great balance of comforting and fresh. The berry smoothie was excellent too on this hot day. Nice, easygoing cafe vibe inside.

Great food, but unless you want what feels like a quart of olive oil, don't get the lox. Seriously. So much oil 🤮

Satisfied after. Didn’t enjoy eating it. - Edit
We feel good after eating the food, but neither of us really liked our sandwiches.
Read moreHe got the pulled BBQ and I got the UnBEETable burger.
Both the homemade chips and the beet burger tasted burnt to me and my burger lacked seasoning.
My husband thought the sandwich buns were greasy, which he didn’t care for.
The trifle we had for dessert and the lemonade were both nice, but the lemonade didn’t seem like it was a 16 ounce cup (the size we ordered).
If I came back, I would try the Philly cheesesteak, but I’m not sure if I would come back, which makes me sad, because vegan restaurants are so hard to find that I’m usually willing to travel hours to get to one.
Pros: The trifle, The lemonade , The girl who took our order
Cons: Burnt tasting chips and beet burger, Lemonade seemed smaller than what we paid for, Under-seasoned beet burger, greasy bun
