I've yet to find an item on the menu that wasn't delicious. I dig the rueben the most.

Casual sit down, friendly wait people, full menu - Edit
Three of us went for brunch on a Saturday. Full vegan menu. We sampled too much food, but all well prepared and tasty. My favorite of a great selection of Mexican dishes was the Chile relleno lunch featuring a mouth watering, mildly spicy, ‘cheesy’ stuffed poblano pepper. Our coffee was cinnamon laced soy milk enhanced, and the others had teas or blended juice, all meal brightening. The American dishes are numerous, and the breakfast “egg” scramble dishes were enjoyed by my friends. We also had their version of a nacho dish - popular but not my favorite. Lastly, the ‘burger’ was the only thing I thought was too typical, and was a pale sister compared with the rest of the vibrant menu. Highly recommend if you are near Long Beach State.

Raw - Edit
The Garden Wrap can be ordered raw. It's the most amount of greens you'll find in LB. I get it with no dressing, chard instead of the tortilla, and sub the hummus with the tuna pate. No oil. It kills for $12.08. It comes with avocado so it doesn't really need the add on.

As good as the original. - Edit
I have only been to this location a couple of times, but it's as good as the original in LA. There are lots of options to chose from, they give you large portions, and the staff is nice. My favorite dish is the club sandwich, you gottta try it.

vegan crepes -- who knew - Edit
Yum. Both healthy and sugary options are available. Great menu with everything from omelettes to pancakes or French toast to bagels and cream cheese. And, yes 100% vegan. Tacos, burritos. Deserts. Crepes can be sweet or savory. This cafe is the bomb.

Favorite spot - Edit
Just got back from California and we ate here 2 days in a row. The whole menu looks amazing but we ordered breakfast both days. Tried the grain breakfast (pancakes, tofu eggs, hash browns & sausage or tempeh bacon) The tempeh bacon is bomb, make sure you get an extra side! We also tried the chilaquiles & breakfast burrito. Both delicious! The serving sizes are large and we were stuffed all day. The hot sauce they bring to the table is spicy and amazing also!

don't forget Dessert - Edit
Had the patty crepe, pretty clever and tasty but I am writing to tell everyone you must try the green tea cake. Even if you are full, get it to go! One of the best pieces of cake I've ever had vegan or non vegan. Service was great too.

My sister found this place by accident and ordered takeout for breakfast a couple of times. We had the breakfast burrito and the tofu scramble. I liked them both. I'd definitely come back hear. I don't know why much they cost but the portions were huge.

This is a great addition to the LB vegan scene! They have a huge variety of different kinds of food, so no matter what mood you're in, you can always eat here. I love their veggie crepe, and the Grain meal. The servers are always really nice and attentive

Latex Gloves:( - Edit
I couldn’t eat here because they use latex gloves:( I’m allergic and environmentally conscious. It’s so toxic I wish we didn’t even make the gloves anymore- it’d be safer and better for the environment because latex is not biodegradable. Sucks my family and I can’t eat here:(

Very beautiful restaurant on the corner of 4th and Ximeno very easy access and very convenient seating. Servers are really nice and serve very refreshing water. Got a lil crush on one of the servers but I won't get into that lol. Amazing food and awesome dessert very affordable food not cheap but definitely worth the price.

Just Ok... - Edit
The service was pretty bad. It took forever to order our food. It took forever for the food to come out and on top of that one of the orders was wrong and the food was semi-burnt. I like that they serve breakfast but I’m not sure this place is worth the drive. The food tasted ok....

I don't know how I missed this place before, but so glad I found it! It's always been tough to find places with vegan breakfast options but one that serves them all day??? Amazing!
Read moreWe all decided to get breakfast for dinner since it's so rare. I hade the pancakes, tofu scramble, sausage and potatoes. Everything was very good. The tofu had the most egg like texture I've tasted. It was great with their home made hot sauce!
My wife had the waffles with fruit, she asked for strawberries and bananas but she got strawberries and watermelon(?) instead. She didn't complain but just took the watermelon off. A rather strange combo. My daughter had the French toast. It had a pretty custard-y texture like French toast without the egg. She really enjoyed it.
We'll definitely be adding this as one of our go to spots. Next time we'll try some dinner-for-dinner entrees and maybe some of the great desserts they had showcased at the counter.
Pros: great selection, friendly staff

We're two weeks into veganism and were really impressed by this place. The food tasted great and the portion size was substantial. We tried the Club Sandwich, Tofu Chorizo Scramble and the French Toast - all amazing. Will definitely be back soon.

almost perfect - Edit
So far, lunch has been awesome. I was just really disappointed with breakfast recently. The crepes were a tough and the falafel was mushy and a bit dry, and the coffee was just horrible. I sent back the cappuccino and got a plain coffee but I think it's a personal preference: the coffee had a licorice/rooty flavor to it, which I really don't like. It left an after taste which didn't sit well. Coffee shouldn't be a reason to bring down a review, but at the prices paid, it's worth noting they should be better.
Read moreMy favorite drink here is the ginger pineapple lemonade, that's fantastic. The club sandwich, the burritos, they were all excellent. I'm hoping I went for breakfast on an off day, and that it gets better. While I've spent a lot here already, I'll return to try other items I haven't had yet. For now I know what I don't need to try again but I'm glad this place is here now and seems to be doing very well.
Pros: entirely vegan, options for breakfast lunch and dinner, long hours
Cons: street parking, a bit slow to get the food out, inconsistent, some items excellent some not
