Delicious flavors - Edit
I found this place by accident well enjoying some vegan ice cream at the place next-door. We decided to come the next day and it did not disappoint. I got the vegan curry sausage with sauerkraut and potato salad. Really good.

Great place to go. Quick service, ample outdoor seating. There are two vegan options and they are both delicious. It’s a wonderful place to have some German food and beer. I will be back.

Authentic German with Vegan options - Edit
German Knodle is located in the best, poppin' little spot in St. Pete called, The Edge District. It is right next door to a pizza spot and vegan ice cream shop. Upon walking in, the owner greeted us immediately. He was very kind and taught us about all of the vegan options on the menu. We chose the curry "sausage" with French fries and sauerkraut.
Read moreFirst, let me say that it was an amazing dish overall. The vegan sausage was so delicious and savory, covered in curry which they absolutely killed! The French fries were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, exactly how they should be. The best part about the dish was the sauerkraut. It's like it may have been slow cooked for hours and it was soooo flavorful and some of the best I've ever eaten. I can't wait to try more options on the list!
I'm giving a 4/5 only because the decor was kind of..different. Maybe that's German style, so correct me if I'm wrong but it seemed not that stylish or modern and the lighting was really weird as well. But besides the interior decor and lighting, you cannot go wrong with this establishment.
They also offer wine and outdoor seating!
Pros: Vegan options , Friendly owner , Great location
Cons: Slightly expensive , Funky decor

Delicious find - Edit
The German Knodle is next door to a vegan ice cream shop and we happened to notice on the sign board that they had a couple vegan options, so we gave it a try. They have nice outdoor seating, which is great there in St. Pete. We got the curry vegan sausage and the vegan mushroom sausage. We also got the three sides on offer, which come vegan, as is - the saurkraut, fries, and vinegar based potato salad. My favorite was the curry sausage, my partner's favorite was the potato salad. The waiter (possibly the owner) was very nice, but he was also helping with food prep, so it was hard to get his attention at the end of the meal, but we were in no hurry.
