Now 100% vegan
I had the vegan fish and chips, the best I’ve ever had the fish was delicious the chips were perfectly cooked and the portion size was perfect. Highly recommend. Great cocktails too!!!

Good vegan food - Edit

I eat here quite often with friends and like that there are several vegan mains on the menu. The cauliflower katsu curry is lovely. The jambalaya is good too, although the portion size is a bit small. There's also a jackfruit burger with chips which is fine - it's a standard veggie burger meal. There are some vegan salad options too.

Pros: Several options for vegans, Staff have always been pleasant and polite

Cons: Sometimes unclear how to order (bar or table)

Better for drinks than food - Edit

I have visited the Devonshire for drinks before and has a good experience, despite the excessively twee decor.

I would not recommend the food though. I visited for brunch and ordered the smashed avocado and peas on sourdough. I was unhappy that despite being marked as vegan on the menu, the meal came with a packet of dairy butter. I enquired about vegan butter and was told there wasn't any. The bread was also oddly sweet for a savoury dish and I can't say I particularly enjoyed eating it.

Pros: ok for drinks

Cons: vegan options served with non-vegan butter, didn't enjoy the food
