Sri Lankan vegan options in Angel - Edit
I went as part of a large group on a Friday evening in May 2026. They were offering 50% off and the restaurant was packed. Nice, bright decor and friendly staff.
Read moreYou order dishes family/tapas style, so while the price might make you think they are mains, the portions are smaller and I would say you want at least 2 dishes per person or order a rice to go with a curry.
They offer a large and interesting cocktail selection- we had a little 🔥 show at our table.
On this occasion, the three of us that ordered together had under ordered and sadly had to wait a very long time for our second round of dishes. They were understanding when we said we didn’t want to wait for the last dish and also supplied takeaway containers and took a couple of items of our bill. So overall, they handled the situation well but might need to fine tune the process / sequence for serving parties.
Vegan options are clearly marked, but watch out for a typo that incorrectly marks the egg hoppa as VG.
