Vegan junkfood, but very basic. The hot dog could use some greens and sauerkraut. And the same goes for the burger. I hate to admit that I like the Burger King vegan burger better.

Reopened - and even better! - Edit
First time visiting since The Cheeky Vegan reopened with new owners. In my opinion, it’s now even better than before. The treat of vegan junk food (hot dogs, burgers etc) remains, but the menu has been expanded with pastries, pancakes and a “vegetable” veggie burger which was delicious.

Visited with my brother on a rainy Saturday. We enjoyed the cathedral views as we ate.
Read moreThe servers were very helpful - they took the time to check the ingredients for their milkshakes to see if they were suitable for me. I was really glad to see they were made from ‘natural’ pure as opposed to syrups as the syrups normally aggravate my ibs badly. So I got a real treat!
We also ordered two fry ups - my only critique is there was a huge amount of beans which filled us up too much that we struggled to manage the toast. I think half the beans would have been perfect portion wise. It was all freshly made and delicious. I can’t wait to visit again!

My go to spot to grab a milkshake after work. Loads of flavours, all delicious, and can add vegan marshmallows! Always wanted to try their pancakes, but have to wait until I am back in the UK rip. Staff really friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. Definitely recommend, support your local fully vegan businesses! ✨

My favourite place for brunch in Exeter. Looking forward to it reopening! I’ve tried a few things on the menu and so far everything has been great, food, coffee and milkshakes are all delicious. Slightly on the more expensive side but definitely worth it!

Lovely location right by the cathedral, we stopped here for lunch. Very welcoming staff and service was quick. If you like milkshakes they do amazing ones! The menu is typical vegan fast food, the texture of the 'chicken' in the burger and wrap was really good, it just lacked a bit of flavour.

Had lunch here while exploring and had a coffee, chick’n BLT and smoothie, all very tasty. Has a bit of a funky but industrial diner feel to it and tables outside right on the green facing the cathedral.

Was in Exeter for a night in November 2022 on my way to Cornwall and really happy to find this place that offered all sorts of vegan comfort food. Will definitely go here again if I’m in the neighbourhood.

This place is right next to the cathedral but away from the hustle and bustle of Exeter. I had a burger from here and it was delicious. The staff are the cherry on top, very accommodating and helpful.
