Gastropub in lovely village setting

Has a couple of vegan options marked on the menu & does a vegan roast on Sundays. Everything is cooked to order so they were able to make me a gluten free version of the tofu pad Thai. The food was very tasty and portions were sizeable - I was pleased I’d skipped the starter & still couldn’t manage it all.

Pros: Able to adapt menu to meet dietary needs, Friendly staff

Village pub

Warm and friendly village pub. There’s a modest section of the menu that’s vegetarian and most dishes can be made vegan on request. I had the risotto which was made vegan by taking off the Parmesan. Service was prompt despite being very busy with a large group

Pros: Generous portions, Prompt service

Cons: Would prefer labelled vegan options
