ordered the 'miss jackfruit' which was beetroot hummus spread on toast with sweet pulled BBQ jackfruit, soy yoghurt and greens. this was genuinely delicious, the jackfruit was so flavourful and the dish was the perfect size. the staff were very nice & friendly and were very willing to recommend their favourite dishes. tap water was given to us as soon as we sat down, which i liked. alternative milks for coffees. cute atmosphere and interior. would recommend ☺️

We had brunch here and both vegan and non-vegan had a brilliant meal. They angle a lot of the menu to vegan and this was a refreshing experience.

Great place for brunch with nice vegan options. I had the jackfruit toast. Service was good although when our food arrived the waiter just put down our food and left without even checking that we had cutlery. It was quite packed so it took a while to get someone to bring them.

Read moreI tried the Miss Jackfruit and it was genuinely delicious. The slow-cooked BBQ pulled jackfruit, paired with beetroot hummus, crisp iceberg lettuce, and a soy garlic yogurt, created a fantastic flavor combination.
My only minor critique from a nutritional perspective is the lack of substantial protein in the dish. While tasty, it would have been even better with a protein boost. A side of fries wouldn't hurt either to round out the meal!
Despite that small point, That's Toast is definitely a nice spot for a quick and satisfying bite in Brugge. I'd recommend it for its great atmosphere and flavorful offerings.

Place only had two vegan options - we tried the sweet potato one which was nice and surprisingly filling. Standout was the coffee though which was actually amazing! Definitely go early - we got here at 8:45 and got a seat immediately but by the time we left people were queuing.

They don’t label the meals vegan, but there are 2 or 3 that are vegan when you ask. I had the Miss Jackfruit toast which was the best jackfruit I’d ever had. Big success.

In the last couple of months, I've tried about 5 times to have lunch here. Mostly between 11.30 and noon. There's always a queue in varying size, and no possibility to take a seat while having to stand in line - outside (hurray when it's raining). I simply can't stand that long - several auto-immune diseases, so had to look for other lunch options each time.

So I've now given up trying to go here. Pity they have a no-reservations policy. Their prerogative, but I don't like it ....
Menu still doesn't mention vegan options although 2 or 3 options are possibly vegan.

On our visit, we asked about the bread, and it was said to be vegan. Although the information I received via e-mail months ago stated that the normal bread isn't vegan, but the glutenfree bread is. So when you visit, be sure to double check about the bread.

On the menu it is not clearly noted what vegan is, although some options say f.e.‘vegan mayo’ so you do know these are probably vegan , but to be sure, ask and they can tell you and plus points, some dishes can be made vegan too.

Normally I prefer only sweet in the morning, but the caramelized sweet potatoe with yoghurt, berries, cinnamon, hints of chocolate and mint really was a surprisingly good and also sweet dish, that gave me a saturated feeling.
No reservations so be early or cue up 😊 Friendly staff and good coffee and great slow pressed juices.
I adore the one with beetroot (red ruby)!

Lovely place!!! The staff were happy to talk me through the menu and they can adapt certain dishes to make them vegan. The food was super tasty and I would definitely return. The only slight annoyance is they tailored an avocado and egg option to simply avocado and I charged exactly the same (I may be asking too much but I would have hoped that the price would be slightly reduced after removing eggs and cheese).

Great place for brunch; cozy sitting, beautifully plated food, mock/cocktails and friendly staff. There is a 'please wait here' post, because one usually has to wait before getting seated. We only waited about 5 minutes (lucky?). It's quick, but you may also feel a little rushed. Did not get that vibe from the staff though! They were fast and efficient, but also let you be in peace. Very tasty toast, various flavours and great new flavour cocktail with beetroot. Recommended!
