My meal was good - Edit
I had tofu with udon noodles. It was quite good and reasonably priced. Fortunately, I checked out the other review (see below) to be forewarned and to double-check about the vegan items on the menu.

decent food, confused staff - Edit
the online menu labels several options as "vegan" and even has a separate page titled "Vegan Food," which clearly serves an SEO function. the on-site menu, however, marks some dishes with a (V) — with no explanation of what it stands for. to double-check (ultimately justifiably), i asked whether it meant "vegan" and was surprised to be told it actually stood for "vegetarian." this didn't make sense, since tautologically vegetarian items like kimchi weren't marked. the confusion was eventually resolved by another staff member (a manager?) who confirmed that (V) does mean vegan. yet later we were informed that the ube fries with mayo we'd ordered — marked vegan — were vegan, but the mayo was not. The proposed solution: eat the fries without the sauce. alongside soy sauce for our dishes, we were given a shared jar of seasoning containing fish flakes. all of this was difficult to square with the attention paid to vegan options on their website.
