I want more from my vegetables! - Edit
The dishes looked good on the plate, the service was friendly and we weren't left waiting. The food relied too heavily on rich sauces, not letting the natural flavours of the vegetables to come through, the vegetables were used mostly for texture. I did enjoy the fennel fritters because they were not too rich, althoght the flavour of the fennel was largely absent.

Amazing flavours - Edit
Came here for the third time last night. As ever, the food was great. Stand outs for me were the white bean dip and the purple soy and sesame potato's. I'd recommend getting some sourdough for the dips. I also tried the mushroom skewers, smoked aubergine and courgette skewers. Really nice vibe and attentive staff. Mostly vegan menu with a few non vegan (marked nv) things on the menu, which are dishes containing cheese. I will be back😄

Well executed fare and lovely service - Edit
Really loved this place. Had the set early bird menu and it was a great combination of flavours and textures. Service charming and knowledgable. Definitely give this place a try. A hugely welcome break from the grotesque Oxford St area!

Pros: Great modern flavours, Lovely service , Almost completely vegan
Cons: Why not ditch the dairy altogether?

Enjoyable but pricey - Edit
The food was really nice and I left feeling full - but £50 is a lot of money for dinner in current times, it feels vegan dining options are becoming more high end as the more affordable chains are squeezed out of business and this is concerning but I had a nice time here nonetheless.

I hear you, but I think high prices are here to stay across the sector. With recent hikes in business rates and NI, businesses (not just the vegan ones) are collapsing at an alarming rate. It is a decent amount of money but for a multi-course set menu, I thought it was good value, personally. Not trying to argue with you but I know how hard it is and costs simply have to be passed on to the customer in order to survive.

Really unique food - Edit
Really nice set menu for a reasonable price. Only gave 4 stars as I think I've had similar dishes more flavourful elsewhere (such as queen of cups in Glastonbury) and I didn't like the dessert (sticky toffee pudding) would have been nice to have had the choice of something lighter, like dare I say sorbet or a citrus mousse
Read morePros: Inventive dishes, Good value, Left feeling very full!!
Cons: Still have non vegan items, Only one dessert option

Excellent! - Edit
Wonderful food, wonderful service, loved every bite of every dish! We had the 'discovery dinner' and it was expensive (we're from up North so London prices are mind boggling to us!) but it was great for a one-off special meal.

So good! - Edit
We tried multiple dishes, a bean mash, fried cabbage with kimchi, the tiramisu. 4-5 between us was good. It was all amazing! Will 100% be going back (and it was nowhere near as £££ as I thought it'd be).

Possibly my favorite restaurant in London - Edit
The food is so so flavorful and creative, I’d come back a million times if I could. I don’t understand the comments about lacking protein..who goes to a restaurant for a nutritionally complete meal? This is not advertised as a health food bar. If you care about GREAT food, you can’t miss this spot when in London!

Great but where is the protein - Edit
The food we had was delicious. For flavor we can not fault a thing. However the menu was lacking in protein. No tempeh, no tofu. There was a delicious bean dip for starter with fresh bread and a mushroom main. The cauliflower was tasty, the miso glaze sweet potatoes were great (this is where we thought a tofu/tempeh substitute would have been fab). The menu was imaginative and flavoursome, with a nice Asian flare. The venue was lovely , the staff were friendly, although we didn’t get offered a dessert menu so missed that there was a tiramisu (my favourite). We would come again. We aren’t often able to choose almost 90% of a menu as vegans so need to support the veggie places.

The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, fresh and well presented - although very rich so not good for sensitive stomachs. The cocktails were tasty, and they offered good wine options.

Innovative cuisine. Service could be improved. - Edit
I’ve eaten here several times. There are many innovative dishes and the menu changes frequently. This is more of a fine dining venue (and the prices reflect that). The service is okay but not what you would expect from a high grade restaurant that is expensive. Staff seemed unfamiliar with the menu or whether the wines are vegan, front of house is slow. Would definitely recommend this to vegan foodies but I think the restaurant can improve the non-food elements of the experience.

Horrible staff - Edit
Got in and were sat in a horrible position that had clearly just been generated, when asked to be moved we were told no in a very rude way, even tho there were free tables that hadn’t been reserved. Based on the interaction we decided to leave and not give them a penny.

All vegan for January! - Edit
I came here on a Friday night and had the set menu. For January they are all vegan. I really enjoyed the first round of dishes - the dip, bread and eggplant, cabbage was really nice and we added the potato cofit also. The only dish I didn't love was the beetroot skewers but that was personal preference. It would be nice to do alacarte as I would of loved to try the mushroom skewers (the early bird set menu includes them). I do think it's a bit pricey but that's London. Overall a really nice meal with plants as the star!

If I end up in London again I’m coming directly here. I got the exceptional brunch experience where you pay them £35 and they keep bringing you small delicious things rich in texture and flavor and delight. What a joy! Bathroom basement was crazy.

Ridiculously good - Edit
Amazing flavors! I had the aubergine dish and the purple potato dish. Both are great. The potato dish was a bit too spicy for me unfortunately but really good nonetheless (note that I’m a wimp so objectively the dish might not be spicy).

Simply the best plant based restaurant in London - Edit
We love Tendril, it’s our favourite plant based restaurant. The quality of the food is always fabulous, the flavours insanely good and the variety of options amazing! The tiramisu dessert is frankly ridiculous - it’s so good!! This visit was for our anniversary and the team made us an extra dessert and gifted the puddings we had as a little Christmas cracker present - this put the icing on the cake of an already spectacular visit. Can’t wait for our next visit in a few weeks time when we will bring friends to experience the delights! Merry Christmas x #Veganuary

Mostly vegan excellent lunch - Edit
This is nice tucked away restaurant in central London that serves mostly vegan (few vegetarian options). The meals are designed for sharing but are all quite substantial and ‘meaty’ with plenty proteins. The Chinatown potatoes and mushroom skewers were really good. Not bad price too
