Temaki-Smoothie King

Nice they have a separate vegan menu with quite a few choices. Best place in Marquette that we have found for vegans. We tried the Portobello Maki roll and Shio Udon bowl and the Generals Cauliflower bowl. All were very good!👍

Pros: Lot of vegan choices, Separate vegan menu, Employees were great

Pleased with the effort

This is a funny little spot. They have one Japan inspired table where you can take off your shoes and sit on the floor, but the rest of the seats are standard fast casual tables. You order at the counter and they bring the food out.

The staff was awesome. They had some mislabeled veggie gyoza and someone came out to our table to help my daughter and I find a different vegan option. She also made sure to give my daughter rice noodles for the ramen in her bento since she mentioned the noodles weren’t vegan.

We ended up getting sweet potato sushi for my son (they also let us know they have vegan mayo for the rolls!), a bento with a panda rice ball, fruit, miso rice noodle ramen and a giant egg roll for my daughter, and a similar bento with grilled portobello sushi for me. The egg rolls were a little pungent and my husbands’s food wasn’t to his taste… but overall the sushi was delicious. My kids were super pleased, and I was thrilled by how the staff went above and beyond for us.

Pros: Super helpful staff, Tasty sushi in an unlikely spot, Kid friendly

Cons: A little pricy for the rolls
