Fantastic food and amazing vista!

What a wonderful find Tandana was for us thanks to happy-cow. The vegan hamburger with potatoes and arugula salad was one of the best we've ever had. Other tasty items included quinoa soup, pizza with vegan ham, and falafel appetizer. Pedro was most gracious and happy to tell us more about this new non-profit restaurant that has been open for only 4 months. We highly recommend visiting for a meal and taking some extra time to enjoy the unbelievable view from inside or on the rooftop.

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Friendly staff

amazing!

Great vegan restaurant in a hip part of Quito. The food was incredible - we had the curried vegetables and tofu and the margherita pizza with homemade cheese, so so good. Plus all the proceeds go towards the foundations mission of animal rights. Truly spectacular, not to miss for veg/vegans (or anyone!) in Quito

Great view, tasty food and friendly service

Very modern decor with local produce and a great view. I also attended a free evening with two Buddhist monks that were visiting the city.

Pros: The whole place is vegan

Cons: Mid priced but you're paying for the view and

Nice vegan restaurant with great views

I had one day in Quito and had hoped to try a couple of the places listed on Happy Cow, but this is the only one I made it to. Luckily, the food was very good. We ordered quinoa soup, bruschetta, calzone, and a stir fry with quinoa. We also had strawberry and pineapple juice. For dessert we ordered their brownie and a chocolate chip cookie - don't judge, we skipped breakfast!! The only thing I wouldn't get again was the chocolate chip cookie. We had someone drive us there so I can't say anything about how easy it is to find. The views are very pretty and we watched a storm roll through over the city.

Pros: All vegan!, Good food., Nice service-spoke a bit of English if you need it

A MUST FOR VEGANS.

THEY SPEAK ENGLISH! A chic place with great food and a beautiful view from the window. I even got a second meal to go to save for dinner because this place is a rare gem and a must for vegans traveling to Quito. The employees are so friendly and patient when sharing and practicing languages. And I really like what they are doing. Also the map may be a little confusing, but it's on the corner of the road.

Amazing restaurant!

This is a restaurant not to be missed. The food is excellent, and presented elegantly. In our two visits, we had the quinoa soup, the veggie burger, the bruschetta, and chocolate pie. Everything was amazing. The "cheese" for the bruschetta was made in house - and by far the best imitation fresh mozzerella we have ever had. There is a nice choice of craft beer. The location is breathtaking - huge windows overlooking mountains and the valley of Guapulo. Each detail of this restaurant was done with upmost care - the tables and chairs were handcrafted from reclaimed/recycled wood and metal, the glasses and light fixtures from recycled bottles. The founders are all vegan and committed to animal welfare and nature preservation. Proceeds from the restaurant go to these causes. One of the owners spoke to us at length about their commitment working on legislation to protect animals, and to prevent animal testing. I wish we had a place like this near home - I'd be there every day!

Pros: Gorgeous view, Excellent all-vegan food, Involvement in social causes
