Omdat er niet genoeg schijfruimte is om mijn review ook in het Nederlands te plaatsen, hier een korte samenvatting: Deze leuke en gezellige plek met super vriendelijk personeel is echt geweldig! Prijs / kwaliteit verhouding is top, we hadden de proeverij en beide een vol bord met hartige dingen om te proeven en een zoete proeverij gedeeld. Super lekker en puur allemaal en veel inspiratie opgedaan om thuis te gaan koken! Ongelofelijk dat alles vegan was. Aanrader: de milkshake mango / limoen / kokosmelk! Leuk dat je ook producten kan kopen, zoals de vegan Parmezaanse kaas. Bijzonder ook dat je hier uitgenodigd word je tijd zonder telefoon/schermen door te brengen. We hebben super erg genoten van ons bezoek en komen hiervoor zeker een keer terug naar Deventer!

What a pleasant surprise this place was! We found this gem in Deventer through HappyCow. We chose a tasting (proeverij) of both savory and sweet dishes. Really recommend! It all tasted so good and pure! And you could tell that this place and the food is born out of love and passion 🥰
It was super nice to be able to taste so much different dishes with a tasting (proeverijtje) and to get inspiration to get started in the kitchen myself! The price / quality ratio is great, we both got a very full plate with all kinds of different savory things to taste. Then we shared a sweet tasting (proeverij), we even got a knife to do everything in half ☺️ We really enjoyed ourselves. We recommend the milkshake mango / lime / coconut milk!
I can't believe everything we got was vegan. And so inspiring to see what is possible without using animal products. Also nice that you can buy some products, such as the vegan Parmesan cheese!
We were able to sit outside, but it also looked very nice inside! The staff was super friendly, and made time for my questions (due to a special diet) and a chat. We were really made to feel welcome. Also nice that you are invited to take some time without telephones / screens, what a relief! And also quite challenging and confronting, when you notice how automatically you always reach for your phone 😅 I ended up only using it to take a picture of the great looking food.
Unfortunately we live an hour's drive from Deventer, but we really want to go there again for SYNC OK!

Heerlijk vegan gebak! - Edit
We waren eind van de middag in dit restaurantje, een kwartier voor sluitingstijd. We werden alsnog zeer vriendelijk geholpen en hadden ruime keuze uit vegan gebak. De smaak van onze taart was voortreffelijk en de koffie is ook prima. Spring zeker eens binnen in dit leuke tentje voor een heerlijke koffie met taart.

Read moreSuch a nice and refreshing little hotspot. This gem is phone-free. You're kindly asked to keep your phone in your bag. The coffee was really good as was the soup on ths changing menu.
I had a nice little chat with the staff, who were very friendly.

Everything is vegan and delicious! Most meals are very out of the ordinary wich I love to try out! Some dishes could have used some more spices (smoked paprika and !salt!) Always hard to choose something from card cuz everything looks so interesting, you just want to try everything their menu has to offer. But be quick because they change their menu every season!

Excellent lunch in the sun - Edit
The three of us (wife, 11yo daughter and me) had lunch outside on a cozy chair in this nice shopping street. Two spicy jackfruit satay sandwiches and one black bean burger. Both were excellent. The jackfruit had such a nice meat-like texture and the sauce was very good. The black bean burger had a lot of taste. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to return to.

Great (and probably only) vegan place in the center of Deventer. Menu offers plenty of options for every moment of the day. Would definitely recommend the vegan cream cheese sandwich and the jackfruit tacos, both really good, well balanced dishes.

* they prefer relaxed athmosphere so they ask to make only phone calls outside
* there are black boxes on the table to put your smartphone, to focus on your surroundings ratger than your phone
* the aquaponics system in the restaurant does contain some fish and uses their wastestream to fertilize planta and grow part of their own produce.
The interior is a lot of engaging, also very cosy with the hanging chairs. The phylisophy is really nice to connect more with everything. If you would be bored without snartphone, there are some books available to read.
The food was amazing! First I had a delicious coconut golden late with veganised local cookies. For breakfast was very curious about the carrot cake bowl and it was mindblowing! Great flavor and textures. Same goes for the kale salad I took to go.
You can also see how everything is freshly prepared in the open kitchen.
Will definetly stop by again!

The atmosphere is quite cozy. The restaurant has a good number of vegan sandwiches and meals. Prices are good even though portions are relatively small. Extra points for using reusable cutlery, napkins and towels.
