Good pastie

Lovely refueling stop at a beautiful view. Good vegan options including pastie, burger and sandwich. Pastie taste. The only sweet treat today was flapjack but they do others

Pros: Good savory options , Reasonably priced

Cons: Limited cake

Vegan Frankfurter

The Vegan Frankfurter was at the top of the specials list. It was a toasted panini and was generously filled with Frankfurter, mushrooms and bbq sauce. Yummy!

Pros: Top of the list, Friendly staff, Quick service

Vegan burger and great views

Beautiful area and plenty of vegan options including a tasty vegan burger patty served in a sandwich. No extra charge for vegan milks in drinks. Seating all outdoors but with some shelter.

Great vegan cheesecake

There were at least four vegan mains, two cakes and vegan magnums as well as crisps, drinks, milk alternatives etc. I had one of the specials- a vegan frankfurter, fried mushroom and bbq sauce panini- followed by vegan chocolate and salted caramel cheesecake. Both were absolutely delicious. I was surprised to find so much choice in quite an out of the way location. Staff were absolutely lovely too.

Lovely food, view and walks

Was impressed with the vegan selection at this little outdoor cafe in the woods! I had a delicious vegan foresters pasty but they also had sausage rolls, paninis, hot dogs and burgers all suitable for vegans! Plus oat milk for tea ☺️ beautiful walk too.

Vegan noms

Great little cafe hidden up the top of Symonds Yat Rock. You deserve all the food from climbing up here! Hot dogs, sausage baps, vegan pasty, salted caramel cake and plant milks available. Great find

Out door cafe with satisfying and tasty vegan food

I had vegan sausage sandwich on one day and we came back to try the pasty which which was really tasty, hearty and home made. They had soya and oat milk. I had a chai tea latte which was yummy. They also had Swedish glacé cornetto style icecream, vegan magnum and almond vegan magnum and a vegan (home made) flap jack. Service was quick and friendly. There were loads of outside benches amongst mature trees. The area was clean and dog friendly. The cafe is a short walk from a view point of Symonds Yat which is a fantastic view over a deep river gorge. Food was good value.

Pros: Tasty food, Desert options, Fab location

Good food, good views

Fabulous little log cabin-style café right near Yat Rock. Seating is outside with a great view, but there are undercover benches to perch on if it rains. They have soya milk for coffee (latte, cappuccino etc) as well as a few coffee syrups and a decent number of vegan items on the menu. The vegan sausage sandwich and the vegan burger both come in thick sliced brown bread so make sure you are hungry! Vegan pasty is very good with scrumptious pastry and a tasty filling. Unfortunately no vegan cake yet. The flapjack looked like it might have been but not labelled as such. Worth an ask.

Pros: Good options, decent portions, great views
