Finally vegan Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream! - Edit

I came here because my absolute favorite ice cream flavor always was Mint Chocolate Chip and I’ve never had it since I became vegan 11 years ago, because it was nowhere to be found without cows milk.
But then I came to bath. 🇬🇧
I LOVED IT!! 😍
I was so happy and it was delicious.
Other than that they had salted caramel, strawberry and another flavor, that I can’t remember.
Unfortunately it’s very pricey - two scoops £5,50… but well… 🙈

Several vegan flavours - Edit

Mint choc chip, salted caramel, strawberry, and vanilla vegan ice cream available as well as raspberry, blackcurrant, lemon, or mango sorbet. I had the mint choc chip which was nice but a bit crumbly? Nice to have multiple options though

Several flavours - Edit

It was good to have a selection of vegan ice cream flavours. I got mint choc chip. It wasn’t that good. I’ve had better vegan versions. Also I was told I couldn’t have it in a cone. Something to do with it being busy. If I went there again I’d have salted caramel as maybe it would be better. But it was a hot day and nice to be able to get an ice cream.

I was really disappointed by my experience at Sunny & Sunshine in Bath. The biggest issue wasn't even the ice cream – it was how I witnessed the staff treating one of their colleagues.

She appeared to be a new member of staff who was still learning, and despite being polite and trying her best, several members of staff, including management, spoke to her in a rude and disrespectful manner. I also observed staff talking and laughing about her in another language while she was working. Whether or not she understood what was being said, it came across as highly unprofessional and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers to witness.

It was genuinely upsetting to see, and I later saw the young woman leave in tears. No employee deserves to be treated that way, especially someone who is new and learning.

On top of that, I found the ice cream to be overpriced. After witnessing how the staff were treated, I decided not to spend my money there.

I hope the management reflects on how employees are treated, because kindness and professionalism should be just as important as the products being sold.

Vegan ice cream! - Edit

Nice to have a choice of vegan ice cream. I had the mint choc chip. It was ok but not as nice as Northern Bloc vegan ice cream, which is stunningly good! Maybe I've been spoiled...

Icy - Edit

We had the mint chocolate chip and salted caramel. Both of them were on the icy side. The mint chocolate chip was the most icy. Ice cream is airy, not thick and smooth. I asked if the cone was vegan and told yes.
