I’m not sure really

I don’t make my own coffee or know anything about it so I’m not sure what it means. But there was a solid lump of slime or something at the bottom of my cup which I assume is something to do with the oat milk? Maybe it split or maybe it was gone off? I really don’t know - as soon as I saw it I stopped drinking.

Other than that it tasted okay, not amazing. The staff member was really kind and wanting to help and definitely made my morning. Prices are what you would expect, I think I paid 25? or 28? kn - I can’t remember.

Best Coffee & Roasted beans in Split - with plant based ‘milks’!!

What a find in old town Split! A TRUE COFFEE ROASTER that knows coffee!

I stopped in as we have been traveling For a few months and I was out of coffee beans. This place opened just two months ago so I was in luck to be able to purchase right from the source!

Owner/operator Ivan was very knowledgeable and helped me with my selection. He should be. He’s very experienced as roasting coffee is his expertise and passion, having been doing this art for sometime. Ivan stated he will be rotating roasts regularly so no palette fatigue here!

I purchased my bean and had him grind it for pour over. Plus I tried it here today. The BOJI - EHTIOPIA roast. So aromatic and simply YUMMY paired with vegan oat ‘milk’.

Ivan uses a Sanremo Coffee Racer machine. Wow does it pull some perfect espresso shots!

Ivan was polite, friendly, helpful. My experience here was PERFECT! His little coffee corner is fresh, clean and minimalist. It’s all one needs to savor a good cup of kava! I absolutely loved everything about this place.

So much so that I stopped in before his closing time of 15:00 and ordered an iced Americano. This time tasting the PE DE CEDRO - BRAZIL bean. So satisfying as an iced drink as the coffee taste wasn’t ‘watered down’ by the ice. It was very flavorful.

I will be stopping in one more time before we depart in the morning. I wish Ivan the best of luck with his new coffee corner. I want him to stay around forever so each and every visit to Split, I can experience another incredible coffee from Split Coffee Roasters!
