Great atmosphere - Edit
Stumbled into Baza and was delighted to find options for both myself and my omnivorous travel companion. I had the vegan dumplings and mushroom pasta, both of which were wonderful. Really friendly staff. May well come back for breakfast!

Lovely food - range of vegan options - Edit
Small, smart venue and had live music playing when we went. All vegan dishes were clearly labelled.
Read moreI had the vegan gyoza to start, tofu noodles main and the apple cinnamon rolls for dessert.
The vegan gyoza were lovely, albeit at €10 for four felt a little expensive (using wagamama as a benchmark) and three of the four somewhat fell apart on (attempting) to pick them up.
The tofu noodles were also very nice and at €15 felt reasonable.
The apple cinnamon rolls were delicious, not usually a dessert man but not having had one yet that trip felt it was time to. At €6.50 felt cheap relative to the other dishes.
Pros: Delicious food, Nice location, Attentive staff
Cons: Starter slightly overpriced

Non è mai bello andare a cena con qualcuno di fronte che mangia animali, ma comunque il mio cibo era molto buono (burger veg) 🙂

Stunning vegan food - Edit
So happy we picked this place. Their set menus included a fully vegan option, but we went for the a la carte and had vegan gyoza, and then vegan tofu noodles, definitely a must if you're in Split

Love the wok fried rice! - Edit
Was hesitant to go based on some previous reviews but I’m so glad i did! The service was excellent and the wok fried rice is delicious. Bonus or con depending on your personal views, the menu ranged from meat to vegan which makes things easier when you are travelling with non vegans. Would definitely go again to try the other dishes!

Fine nothing special - Edit
The restaurant is instragram perfect. But the food wasn't special and overpriced. The dumplings were flavourless and the dough was not soft enough. The vegan dessert was also flavourless. When I order apple and cinnamon I except warm and rich flavours, but this was bland. We thought it was too expensive for the flavours and the portion size.

Great service. Several options. Tasty food. - Edit
My partner and I have eaten here twice over the last couple of days - once for lunch and once for dinner. We were impressed that there were several vegan options across the menu. Between us, we tried the nori rolls, vegan wok and the burgers - all were delicious. The service was also fab.

Good food in the middle of Split - Edit
Nice restaurant and bar right in the middle of split. Good food selection with clear labels. The tacos were stuffed to the brim and very tasty, they serve them cold which was nice due to the heat.

I liked it! - Edit
There is a nice location and the walls are covered in amusing posters. Really plentiful vegan options, but the music may be a little too loud for some. They do breakfast and brunch too. I had their vegan burger + fries:
Read moreCrispy soft bun with mild, creamy, refreshing vegan mayo and the occasional salad vegetable. The presentation was particularly good, however it was extremely awkward to eat as the lentil based burger was too large for the bun and it was very slippery due to all the mayonnaise. Also, the fries were a tad plain and it took a little while. But these are just details and I give it 4 stars because I enjoyed the food.
Pros: Good well labelled vegan options , Nice building and location
Cons: Couldn’t eat in a dignified manner! , (But that’s probably my fault for choosing , a burger)

The food here was just okay. We had the tacos and dumplings to start and risotto and burger for mains. Everything was nice enough but nothing amazing! It was nice to have plenty of options though and the food was clearly labelled vegan. Staff were lovely. Food came quick

Pretty good! - Edit
Really surprised by the quality and quantity of this! I was only expecting a wrap but it came with tasty lentil patties and (I think) home made hummus and guacamole, roasted veg and fresh salad. Pretty good for a none vegan restaurant, as the vegan ‘option’ can often can pretty dire.

Baza in Split - Edit
We going Baza tonight! Last night was spent wandering around Split searching (in vain) for a restaurant serving a decent choice of vegan and non vegan food. On the end I resorted to pasta in a tomato sauce (uninspiring). To find Baza with a choice was exciting! The vegan risotto was wonderful and it was a generous portion. Lovely cocktail to go with it!

Food was overall very good. The vegan risotto tasted great but probably wouldn't call it a risotto - more of a fried rice.
