wonderful flavours - Edit

Amazing fresh Raw flavours. The rice paper rolls were absolutely surprising and fresh. Will have to come back here to try the burger!
The Ramen with Tofu was disappointing, and missed the mark completely.
Otherwise lovely service, great atmosphere and design.
I will come back for more!

Pros: design and ambience , amazing flavours, kind staff

Cons: slow service, not cheap, the ramen

Awesome and cozy place - Edit

I had the burger which was absolutely delicious. Service was so friendly, you do need to order at the counter (which is where one of the earlier comments probably came from). I would absolutely recommend it! It is kinda pricy but to me that is just Denmark in general. Definitely depends on which dish you get from the menu.

simpleRAW experience - Edit

Lovely place about 1.5km from copenhagen City centre. Nice range of choice. I had a cheese quinoa burger with all the trimmings! It was wonderful. The staff are lovely too. I recommend this place 100%. Perfect for a date as well. Lovely and quiet.

Great location, disappointing food - Edit

Friendly service and the central location are definite positives. I actually enjoyed the food more on my previous visit back in May 2016. The menu hasn't changed but this time it was a grey wet winters day so I chose a cooked rather than raw option. I picked the miso ramen was a bit salty for my taste and a bit uninspiring. Disappointing. The smorgasbord and raw cakes that I had on my previous visit were however delicious.

Pros: Location close to the round tower, English spoken , Friendly service

Cons: Variable food, Dairy milk for tea/coffee

Cake and burger :) - Edit

So it's not 100% raw as the name kind of indicate. But it's delicious. I love their rawcakes, the portobellopaté on rawbread and the burgers :)

Pros: Super good :)

Cons: To bad the one in Vesterbro closed :(

So fresh - Edit

A really good place if you are craving really fresh food. I had the rice paper rolls with avocado and an avocado burger and it was heavenly. Even for Copenhagen standard I would say it is a bit pricey, but really yummy.

Pros: good food, nice staff , central location

Cons: pricey

A lifesaver during the Christmas period - Edit

I was in Copenhagen over the Christmas period and was planning to visit some restaurants while there, having forgotten that some places shut down over the entire holiday period, sometimes not opening again until the second week of January. Of course, I was not really expecting anything to be open on Dec. 24th or 25th, but thought that some places would open again in the days following. Not too many did!

Luckily, one of the ones that did reopen on the 26th was Simple Raw. And extra-luckily, it is a really great place. Good food, friendly servers and spacious!

I went twice during my short stay in the city and got to try their (non-raw) burger, seed bread, summer rolls (called "rice paper" on the menu), raw lime cheesecake (so good!) and a matcha lattè.

The restaurant is on the lower level of an old building in a very cute square that photographers will not want to miss. Inside, warm and natural lighting is provided by over-table lamps and skylights.

Highly recommended!

Pros: great food, nice ambiance, spacious, friendly staff

Good Food - Edit

Really nice environment. I had a raw salad bowl with tofu, mago, cauliflower rice and it tasted great. It was december and really cold outside so really wanted warm food but this still filled me up for lunch. Wish I had time to go back again for dinner. It was healthy and had a good menu.

Pros: Tasty

Non-Raw Vegan and I loved it! - Edit

While I was craving something warm after a cold and rainy day, I ended up getting a cold zucchini noodle bowl, but the flavor was still fantastic. The chickpeas were my favorite, and I got a raw cheesecake to finish the meal. Great wine options, as well!

Pros: Vegan wine, Great food

Nice brunch - Edit

I came here for brunch and chose the brunch plate which consisted of a nice variation of different things. The lemon cake was the most delicious. I was there by the time they opened on a Sunday, so the place was nice and quiet. Friendly staff.

Poor service - Edit

I waited at my table for 20 minutes, during a not particularly busy lunch hour, before giving up and leaving. I imagine the food's alright, though overpriced, but leaving a customer waiting with no service at all is unacceptable.

Cons: Service

delicious not-only-raw vegan food - Edit

Ate here for dinner on a Sunday night and the kitchen closed at 7.30pm so operating hours listed here not necessarily correct all the time. Lovely and friendly staff. I had a carrot, apple, lemon ginger fresh juice and my other half had a full bodied ale; both enjoyed in equal measure. The food was hearty, wholesome and more-ish! We had the sour-"cream" and onion kale chips which were really tasty. We then had the seed bread shared-plate and selected as our three choices the avocado (best), the veggie patty (very good) and the portobello pâté (both of us are mushroom lovers, but it was to not to our tastes). Then we had a spicy salsa and a "cheese" burger served with dehydrated root veg. They were exceptionally delicious and filling. We were more than sated, but couldn't turn down dessert and went for the raw cheesecake and lemon cream pie - both good to the last bite. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere - highly recommended.

Very nice vegan food - Edit

SimpleRaw has a very nice vegan burger which you can have with vegan cheese. Unfortunately they hadn't any chips anymore so we got some salad with it and kale chips. The kale chips where surprisingly nice. We also had a dessert which were very good. I loved the vegan cheesecake!

Pros: tasty, nice location

Cons: kind of expensive

Friendly staff, good food - Edit

Food was good over all. The almond milk milkshake was nice, as were the summer rolls (listed rice paper rolls on the menu).

I had the king oyster mushroom ramen as a main, and it was quite nice, although not the best I've had. Could have done with a little more flavour in the broth, and also a few more chunks of mushroom. A mixture of mushrooms and tofu would be the best combination in my opinion.

Next time I go, I think I'll have the vegan burger instead, as that looked delicious. Overall, a nice place to eat, friendly staff, and good food.

Accepts credit cards. Reasonably priced

great vegan food - Edit

Good location. Sat outside and listened to some like music in the square while eating my noodles and drinking my juice. The cheesecake was good but a bit small. I would recommend stopping and checking it out. Staff was very friendly. Menu in Danish and english.

Pros: all vegan, good location

Fantastic food! - Edit

SimpleRAW is an extremely cozy small shop in the hearth of Copenhagen. It offers outside as well as inside seats. The place is nicely furnished in modern Skandinavian style and the ambience was very quiet and neat when we visited. The menu offers a selection of raw and vegan plates, ranging from snacks and brunches, to main courses and desserts. The food was extremely good and the presentation was impeccable too. I personally recommend their portobello paté on seed bread and the portobello hot ramen. You can't leave without tasting the amazing triple chocolate cake, one of the best I've ever tried (not limited to vegan ones). If you're in Copenhagen, this is a must!
