Sunday roast - Edit
Lucky to be in the UK on a Sunday to try a Sunday roast. The pastry part was very good. Large enough portion to split. Vegetables were good. Was a bit hesitant about the beetroot but it turned out to be good. Not many choices for dessert so skipping that. Not many options to eat in Stow so I’m glad we have this. We were also confused when we walked in. There was no podium to wait to be seated. We had a reservation but didn’t know how to get their attention to be seen.

Came here a second time for dinner and had the chestnut and mushroom pie and it was great! Big enough to share. Highly recommend. Doesn’t smell like fish tonight. Sitting on the lighter side of the restaurant and has MUCH different better vibes!

Lovely Chestnut & Wild Mushroom Pie - Edit
They have some vegan options, and the pie was the most interesting to me, also because I don't want to eat a hamburger every time I eat out. This was very nice British cuisine and the taste of the pie was just wonderful, they really nailed it here, highly recommended!

Vegan options in an enjoyable setting - Edit
Several vegan options. I started with a house salad (it was ok) and the server got me sourdough with oil and balsamic upon request. That was good. Ordered the butternut squash risotto and it was very filling. Nothing to write home about, but artfully presented and nice to eat something other than a veggie burger and chips.

Good food but expensive - Edit
Popped in here for Dinner, after being redirected from another restaurant across the road called The Porch because they were too full. My friend and I both ordered the Vegan Pie, it was delicious and came with Broccoli, Sweet Potato Mash and Gravy. I think for the price, it could have included more vegetables on the side. There were no vegan desserts options apart from Ice Cream, which was delicious but could have done with more options.

Ok Pub food - Edit
Mushroom risotto was fine, pea burger was ok, cauliflower wings starter was nice but lacked sauce. Couldn't find any other vegan options on the menu.

Great service! - Edit
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The staff was very friendly, conversational, and accommodating. There were several vegan options, and plenty of variety for my omnivore family members as well. I had the quinoa grain bowl, which was lovely. The pizzas were made by a Sicilian, and my husband really liked his. I was tempted to try their vegan burger because they were made from whole foods vs. the highly processed meat analogues, but the quinoa bowl sounded healthier and I enjoyed it. We also really liked the atmosphere here; very pleasant!

Incredible vegan roast and friendly staff - Edit
Vegan roast was fantastic as was the vegan dessert. There wasn't a vegan option on the starters menu but when asked the staff and chef were so accommodating and came back with three options.

Fantastic vegan options! - Edit
I came here for lunch and the staff were lovely and accommodating. You have to order via the app and I was worried it might not come out fully vegan, but speaking to staff was easy and simple! I ordered a pizza with vegan mozzarella and extra toppings. It was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered a vegan burger which she said was also lovely. Would definitely recommend this place. Reasonable price too.
