This is incorrectly listed on Happy Cow and has recently changed to start serving meat.
Read moreThey still have some vegan options on the menu, I had the Nachos. The food was not that great, a little bland and on the expensive side for what it is.
There are other options in the area that are better.

Went for a burger but they’ve made the menu much smaller and now the only vegan mains are nachos, falafel wrap, salad and fries😒the rice bowls all have meat/fish. Got a smoothie bowl instead which was nice but small

They have now added rice bowls that are non-vegan. But the remainder of the menu is vegan. The quinoa salad was absolutely amazing, the falafel sandwich was good but was definitely dry and needed more hummus. And the hummus platter was okay..

And the food is delicious (the 'pinkakes' are my top recommendation), this is a precious gem on the island!
Note: the menu remains vegan-focused 😍, even though this is no longer a fully vegan restaurant (see picture).

Wir waren zweimal im Shaka zu besuch es war beide male so so lecker ! Nur Achtung wegen der Veranda die ist teilweise sehr morsch. Der Service ist toll , das Essen und Trinken so lecker und das Café an sich auch richtig gemütlich.

Pedimos unos nachos y sabor mexicano no tienen pero estaban ricos. Hamburguesa shaka que lleva un pattie y con lo cual queda un poco aceitosa pero está sabrosa. Y fillet no fish, que no llegan y a cambio vienen un falafel, le falta sabor y chicha la verdad, el falafel no es su fuerte.

We ordered the mushroom stroganoff because we were craving some carbs. We asked to add some tempeh and were accommodated no problem. We also ordered the nachos grande appetizer.
Read moreThe pasta was amazing. Creamy, garlicky, and tempeh was wonderfully smoky.
The nachos? Well, these were some 5* nachos. The jackfruit was barbecued(?), with the cheeze sauce and guacamole these were up there with some of the best vegan nachos I’ve had.
We’ll be coming back as soon as possible to sample more. Well done, Shaka!

There was a misunderstanding with the bill and although they sorted it, it was embarrassing having 4 members of staff crowding me for explanations.
