Best Vegan Find Ever!! - Edit
I found this gem while visiting on a business trip. It was absolutely the best vegan restaurant that I’ve been to yet! The food was delicious, the service was great and they were extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and I wished I had a bigger stomach so that I could try more of their delicious foods! I even ordered an extra salad to go for the plane ride home the next day. A . Can’t wait to return on a future trip.

After eating at this place, I’m sure people hype it tf up just because it’s vegan. The food was alright. Just a tad overpriced. I suppose it’s for portions. Flavors of the food were underwhelming. The whole time I was eating it, I couldn’t help but think, I could cook this and it would taste way better. My girlfriend had lentil soup which had complex flavors but didn’t quite hit the mark. It was missing something key to making the flavors marry. Just off in general. I had veggie fajitas. They gave me 3 tortillas when the standard is 4. The flavor of it all was good but again it was missing something. Just a bit bland. It was decent but in all actuality it was worth half of what I paid. The service was.....well. Our waiter wasn’t rude. He just waited us as if it was the last thing he wanted to be doing. Like we were inconviencing him by being there. But we were literally the ONLY people in there because it was raining I guess. I had to get up and ask him for things because he was chillin on his phone at some point. The whole experience was decent.

This was my first all vegan tex mex restaurant I had been to and I was slightly disappointed. We got the tempeh chalupas and the jack fruit mole. I enjoyed the tempeh meal but it was lacking on overall flavour and I didn't really like the jack fruit mole but maybe I'm just not use to that flavour

The rice was so hard it was not edible and the salad was lettuce and tomatoes... I brought the rice to the register to show them so they will not serve it to anyone else and I didn’t even get a “ I’m sorry” .
Really sucked when you pay top dollar.
We also ordered a buffalo tofu hoagie and the bread was really old ...🤨 won’t be back for a long while.

All vegan, all flavor! I had the Texas lentil chili and poblano corn fritters and it was fabulous! Hubby had the karma bowl and he loved it. Everything was flavorful and presented beautifully. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great too.

Came here with Omni friends and they even enjoyed the food! We ordered the black bean nachos and spinach dip as an appetizer. Both were delicious. Husband ordered the eggplant torta and I basically ate half of it. The green enchiladas were very good, too. The kids enjoyed the Mac and cheese and black bean quesadillas. Left with two chocolate & pecan donuts and a sweet potato empanada which are amazing! The portions are large and filling. Next time we are in San Antonio we are definitely coming back!

We ate lunch here then walked to a festival on the River Walk. My first time eating jackfruit and it was amazing (I had the street tacos with cashew crema)! I love the vibe in this place with cool art work and big windows. Had to get some desserts to go of course - horchata doughnuts! We need a place like this back home in Boston...

Went here today starving and ordered an appetizer (hummus) and 2 plates (one for me and another for my mom). When the appetizer came out we were shocked at the huge portions! Then when we got our main dishes they were also huge! This was great and especially for the price. The staff was also very friendly. Would come bk next time in San Antonio

Cute little vegan restaurant near San Antonio River walk. They have a great variety. The poblano corn fritters are amazing! My husband ordered the chalupa and it was super yummy and very flavorful. The portions are huge. I ordered the vegetable enchiladas which we didn't care for. Others might think they are wonderful but we just didn't enjoy the taste. The rice is also a little gummy but we did take out and that may have been the issue. Definitely will eat there again on our next visit!

Easy walking distance from Riverwalk area. Very friendly staff and great vegan food. I loved the Cactus tamales. The pumpkin muffin was just ok. I would recommend a visit. Easy street parking as well.

Located in the arts district of San Antonio is Senor Veggie, a fully vegan restaurant with a focus on Latin American favorites (ya know...tacos, empanadas, fajitas, enchiladas), but also has Asian, Italian, and classic Southern flavors on the menu. I ordered the Eggplant Torta. The large sandwich comes with fries (or choose another side for a small upcharge). The grilled bollilo roll was stuffed (I mean stuffed) with a black bean spread, crispy fried eggplant, lettuce, pico, and a peppercorn ranch dressing. The sandwich was awesome, and the salty pico with the crunchy eggplant was a perfect bite. The creamy dressing was just enough to flavor the sandwich and not overpower it. For the side, I got the Mediterranean vegetables, they tasted good, but they were really curry flavored, which didn't pair well with the sandwich (and isn't really Mediterranean, but hey). Stick with the fries, they would go really well with the torta. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal at Senor Veggie, and I would definitely be back for a meal and to raid their bakery case (it's filled with vegan cupcakes and other goodies).

Great food! Everything is really whole foods plant based type of vegan. Not much processed or fake vegan food. Very minimal but very tasty and good! Staff is always super friendly and they have a live band on Fridays and Saturdays i believe. Parking is in back and they have dessert too!
