No vegan options.

No longer any vegan options on the menu. Said could make a vegetable salad but they didn’t have any tofu or anything else to offer. Shame as previous reviews sounded positive.

Pros: Mojito was nice.

Cons: No vegan options on the menu. , Could only offer a vegetable salad. , Didn’t even have tofu.

Great curry.. and drinks! ;)

Stayed at the resort a few days and found a lot of support for concierge (a vegan/vegetarian local) who not only got us squared away with suggestions from the menu but sent us out with a few of her favorites.

Despite her encouragement to go try things beyond our/her resort, we found the Sea Salt restaurant at Sea Dance to give us the best quality, value, and even flavor compared to some local joints. Also, a veggie burger I never ordered, but why eat burgers when you’re in Thailand anyways? Also also, the drinks are on point.

Expensive and bland but great service and ambience

This is one of the pricier restaurants as it is part of a resort. The restaurant was run by a Westerner so it was really easy to communicate my vegan requirements, and she was really helpful to point out which dishes could be veganised (papaya salad, massaman curry, vege burger, sorbets and some deserts like the lime crumble and mango sticky rice). I ordered the papaya salad but it wasn’t very tasty- it seemed a bit bland and lacking in flavours. For dessert I got a “selection of Thai sweets served in a grilled coconut and with sorbet (instead of coconut icecream). It sounded great and cost 390 baht but when it came out it was just a tiny fruit salad with sorbet. My non-veg friends ordered burgers which were okay, and the fried ice cream which was also a let down.
The staff were very lovely though, and very helpful, and the ambience of the place was quite beautiful too. Just a shame the food fell flat, especially given their prices.
