The theme educates customers on the study of botany with a library, seed vault, cultivation room and lecture room within the location. All baked goods (cakes, tarts & more) and drinks are vegan. Removed January 2024: Concept changed and not longer vegan.

I’m writing this sitting under a latern lit moss covered tree canopy next to a waterfall in a little nook in this fascinating cafe. Just ate the peach cake and it was one of the best bites of my life- extra fluffy and not too sweet, delicate whip and gorgeous presentation. Also, had a scone and oat milk latte and considering a belly ache to try more. My mind is blown. I will say maps directed me off the train in an insane way through some very rich seeming part of town in the hills- so… double check! Took me like an hour to navigate, lol. Totally worth it. I’ll post in the photos what i mean. Should also note I’m a solo world traveler and this place was not weird to be at alone. IYKYK.

I mean wow. Visually, this place is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. It truly was an experience to come here. Unfortunately, my hot oat latte was served lukewarm but the taste was ok. The brownie on the other hand was dense and chewy like a real brownie should be. I was pleasantly surprised because often in Korea, brownies are quite dry and crumbly and not brownie-like at all. I would come back here to try other drinks and the other desserts but I can't give more than 3 stars at present for a lukewarm latte. If I only rated the brownie I would give a 5.

Definitely giving "Parasite" vibes, I rarely felt this fancy having a coffee somewhere. By somewhere, I mean in a fantastical brutalist ocean environment where the tables are aquariums.

The interior was beautiful and the concept is really cool. The food was delicious. I tried the lemon meta hue pie and the fig frangipani, with mango lassi. It’s not cheap but the food and scenery make it worth it.

They have a big selection of baked goods, from pies, tarts, biscuits and cakes. You help yourself with a tray and they plate everything up for you.
Read moreI love the orange scone and their pies. The green acai bowl is delicious too. The meringue tart and chocolate fruits tart were quite good but the tart pastry is a little too overbaked for my liking.
I've only ever had the iced black coffee (to balance the sweet cakes) but the other drinks do look good.
The cafe is worth a visit just for the interior. Each floor has a different design but I sat in the water level which had running water, trees, tanks and plants. Really unique and amazing design.

This place is absolutely insane, it's on the same grounds as lazy farmers, the rooms are so unique and interesting that I would say this is one of the places you should absolutely visit when in Seoul! They have delicious drinks and sweets such as cake. It is pricey though so keep that in mind.

What I find most impressive or interesting here is the interior and its atmosphere: In the basement, there are a little pond, a waterfall and fish tanks (without fish). Upstairs are pseudo-scientific samples of seeds and other plant parts, as well as screens with videos of plant life. It's fun to explore the place!

Since the design concept seems to have priority here, you may find some of the seats and cutlery a bit uncomfortable...
The cafe is located inside the building next to Lazy Farmers, and surrounded by a cute gardenscape. In several regards, this is an unconventional and exotic place!

Their baked goods look amazing. They will look super delicious in your photo, but the taste is.. nah. Everything was too heavy/greasy. I would give them 3 stars if I were solely reviewing their food, but the interior is really nice. It is good to see fully-vegan cafe with such a nice vibe.

Savage Garden is the vegan cafe in this location. They also have a vegan restaurant in building next door. The cafe is very good. Baked goods were very well made. The interior is interesting and will surely be packed with IG crowd. I had lemon tart and choco tart. Both were very good. Will review again when can order more in a group. Will surely be back soon.

This theme cafe is outstanding. All the rooms are decorated so well it makes the cafe an experience in itself. I love the first ground rooms with water plants. Furthermore, the desserts are as delicious as they are beautiful. I also got an ice tea which was a real ice tea (not those sugary flavored drinks) and everything was so perfect. The yogurt bowls are delicious with thick Greek vegan yogurt and tasty granola. One of the best vegan cafes in Seoul in my opinion, perfect to sit in summer while looking at Namsan.

The design is really cool but it's actually not very practical. A lot of the seating is uncomfortable. Feels like a lot of wasted space, and its difficult to get around.
Read moreMost of the food here is not very good, the exceptions being the tarts and the yogurt bowl. Those two items are worth coming for. However, they are often sold out of these products. I think the other items arent worth the money. The staff here hasnt been very friendly either.
Its worth it to check this place out at least once or come for a few items but it isnt a place I would frequent.

Savage Garden became on of my favorite Cafés in Seoul. I really like the atmosphere and the interior with an eye for details. But most importantly, the cakes and bowls are so tasty! Not too sweat and with a great combination of flavors and texture!

Wow. I can’t wait to come back here to chill with friends. I was so full from my meal next door that I just grabbed some things for take out, but the interior of this place is where it’s at!! I was also too full to try the sesame latte. It sounds so good I can’t wait to come back for it! I went with a delicious blended iced tea instead…the peppermint lemongrass, and it helped me to get over my fullness. I also took the perilla leaf Madaline home and it was super yum. The fact that it was wrapped in a perilla leaf was such a nice touch. I will definitely be back for that latte and to bask in the beauty of this space!

Very unique location with modern lab style environment and indoor water flow. A lot of different rooms and corners, if you want to have some time for yourself. Coffee was very good, lot of variety to chose from.

Read moreI don't recommend coming here for anything but socializing. While the "college" theme would suggest it might be a good place for studying it's not! The wifi was spotty and the outlet locations are inconvenient.
But if you're there to just chill and enjoy, it's great!
