Read moreThere are/were two listings on HappyCow and Google Maps, for side-by-side Sam's Kitchen and Sam's Meat-free Deli, but right now (Feb 2026) they are in transition, with just the Kitchen open from 10:30 to 4:00 pm. A bit earlier and a bit later, you can buy things from the chiller, such as salad/meal bowls, sandwiches and desserts (approx. 9:30 to 4:30 pm). The owners will update the listings when they can. Some of the Deli items are available, such as artisan cheese.
I ate here all three days I was in town - it’s the only all-vegan eatery. I enjoyed a big salad bowl, consisting of quinoa, chickpeas, greens and edamame; a chick’n sandwich, a cheese sandwich (I would prefer wholewheat bread to white); the excellent Mrs. Boss burger, topped with two onion rings and served with sweet-potato (yam) fries and garlic aioli; and a tasty kebab wrap.
There are a few tables outside in the covered entranceway.

I’m so happy that this place exists! It’s the only fully vegan restaurant in Gibraltar and they have a fantastic range of dishes and even desserts. The food was freshly made and very affordable for the serving sizes, the staff so hearty and nice. Sam’s kitchen also offers meal deals.

After being in Spain for 3 weeks and finding it extremely difficult to eat vegetarian and enjoy it, this place was such a treat during our day trip to Gibraltar! My husband had the Not fish and chips that came with a small salad and mushed peas and I had one of the “chicken” wraps. Both were amazing! The sauces were super flavorful!

We visited Sam’s Kitchen in Gibraltar and we were truly impressed! We tried the falafel plate and the spicy gyros, and both dishes were absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. The fries were excellent – crispy and tasty, just the way they should be. The service was very friendly, quick, and professional. I’d also like to give a special thank you for letting me charge my phone, which had completely died – such kindness and helpfulness. I really recommend this place.

I had the chick’n wrap and banoffee pie, both which were delish but the banoffee pie in particular was incredible. I crumbled a lotus biscuit on top and I died at the experience. 10/10.

We arrived there 20 minutes before they closed and even so they gave us a warm welcome and let us use their outside seating to eat. They have a huge menu, with brands and dishes you won’t get anywhere in Spain (obviously because it’s Gibraltar). The dish (French fries on top of gyros on top of pita bread) was very tasty. They also have lots of desserts. All in all a fantastic visit.

Read moreWe tried the kebab and wrap with fake chicken. While the portions were satisfying, both dishes were overly salty for our taste. The kebab had a strong Indian-style flavor. The wrap, on the other hand, felt like it could use a bit more excitement—maybe a better sauce to make it stand out.
Overall, it’s a decent option for vegan food, but a little more balance in seasoning and creativity in flavors would improve the experience.

Great food, loads of options. All very tasty, Nothing not to like. We had 3 meals here in our short visit to Gibraltar, no complaints at all. The 'fish' and chips, with salad and tartare sauce was gorgeous. We also had the chik'n, gyros, on a flatbread. really tasty. Also lots of lovely vegan desserts. The guy who we assumed is Sam is a lovely friendly man, welcoming and chatty.
